• Disappointing experience with Extreme Ilyricum – not recommended

  Our tandem paragliding in Llogora NP, booked through Tripadvisor with Extreme Ilyricum, seemed promising but turned into a big disappointment. Two days in advance we contacted to arrange the meeting location. Then we were informed that it was not possible to fly from Llogora because of too much wind, and that we would meet in Vlore. Despite repeated communication in which date, time and confirmation were clearly communicated, it turned out that we had been scheduled incorrectly. The next day, we received messages wondering where we were — confusing and unprofessional. Before departure on the booked date, we still informed that, given the drive of almost three hours, we would be in Vlore on time. The response was: "We'll see you there, see you later." But we suddenly got the strange answer to our message that it was about 1 hour away: "Please, I can't answer." No one was present at the scene. On telephone contact we were told that there was no way to fly due to too much wind — while there was hardly any wind on the spot. What makes this experience extra wry: on the way back we spoke to people who had flown that same day, from Llogora NP. This suggests that our flight was incorrectly scheduled and they tried to cover it up with an excuse. Although Viator followed up correctly, we are left with lost time, extra mileage and, above all, a missed last day of vacation. This organizer is therefore absolutely not recommended to us.

  On behalf of French, I made this surprise for my boyfriend during our trip and it was crazy! I was afraid security level etc but rush! Only problem the day of booking they were not on the spot so the surprise was missed because they had changed spots because of the weather without notifying us. We were able to fly the next day and it was crazy but remember to call them early that morning to be sure of your appointment.

  The support of Viator as an intermediary was good, questions were answered promptly. The meeting point was well described so it could start on time. We felt safe, and all three flew as tandem for the first time. Less good was that only one pilot was for three guests, so we had to wait 1 hour each until the next launch. If there had been information about this before, it would have been less uncomfortable, in the blazing sun, no seating. Then we could have prepared for it. However, the description on Tripadvisor does not match the offer, it is less than 45 min. Flight time, but only 15 minutes :-( I had chosen this offer precisely because I am 15 minutes too short. When asked about it by the pilot, there was no satisfactory answer. Later, the pilot looked, and then agreed with me because of the claimed 45 minutes flight time, instead of 15 minutes. At that point, it was already paid. Whether I will ever be able to honour the goodwill proposal remains open for now. Therefore only average rating with 3 stars

  An experience of a life time. I never thought I would get to fly, let alone over such a stunning view. Illyricum made sure the experience was fantastic from the very start till the last moment. He greeted us with such enthousiasm and an air of friendship that I immediately felt at ease around him. He took his time to explain to all of us what the experience would be like and what was expected from us. I was really surprised how well he catered to everyones comfort level! Taking it slower with those who were nerveus and then giving the more comfortable ones a bit more manouvers! The entire time he was ensuring that I felt safe and unafraid! Truly one of the most fun things I have ever done!

  An unforgettable experience soaring through the skies! My day spent flying with Extreme Illyricum and our group was absolutely phenomenal. His expertise and enthusiasm made every moment exhilarating and safe. From takeoff to landing, the adventure was seamless, filled with breathtaking views and thrilling maneuvers. Highly recommend for an experience that will leave you soaring with joy!

  We had bad weather on day of flight, thus cancelled. the next day we were scheduled again to fly, great weather, and this company falsely claimed we couldn't fly due to rain at take off site. we went there, no rain. Next day, great weather, still they didn't plan us. after 3 days of waiting and adapting our plans to a flight that never happened, we finally continued our vacation feeling really cheated.

  I would recommend it to anyone, the beautiful view and the many impressions were insane, the flight was much too short in this regard 🤭🙈, after which it could have taken the whole day. Klement did a great job 👍.

  After Leave Vlora , me and my Friends wanted to do paraglyding in Albania. The flight itself was professional and an amazing experience. After that we relaxed at the Beach. .
