  We booked a full day with Walter including morning birdwatching, Rio Celeste tubing, coffee and chocolate tour and the Tapir Valley night tour. The entire day was amazing and everything we needed was taken care of by both Walter and our local guides. Walter has great relationships with other guides in the area so any tour we did not with him was seamless and felt less like a run of the mill tourist stop and like a truly local experience. The birdwatching and Tapir valley tours where Walter our guide were some of our favorites. He found every bird we wanted to see the most and is super knowledgeable about where to look for wildlife and at what times. We hope we can come back to spend a few more days with him as our guide!

  We used Walter for several tour days on our recent vacation. We had a great time! He went above and beyond making sure we had the best experiences. Our daughter is disabled and he was so kind and caring , always checking that she was ok and enjoying herself. Our vacation was awesome and Walter gets credit for most of it. • Going with Walter is a Must-Do in Bijagua

  We spent two days doing different excursions with Walter, from Rio Celeste waterfall, to a chocolate farm tour, the hanging bridges, looking for wildlife and going to Tapir Valley Reserve. We are a little older and slower and Walter was patient with us the whole time. No rush. Walter pointed out wildlife, birds, and plants we would not have seen on our own, and he is very knowledgeable about all things Bijagua and Costa Rica. You can tell he loves the area and what he does and wants to impart this knowledge to you. If you want a fun, pleasant, and very knowledgeable guide, you MUST go with Walter.   Myself, wife and sister in law did several excursions with Walter (hike to Rio Celeste waterfalls, tapir valley, chocolate farm tour - made own chocolate bars.) We are all over 60 and Walter was a great guide, planning to come back next year and will definitely use him again!
