Little Italy
Little Italy is a chic, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood, packed with trendy cocktail bars, brewpubs and restaurants with bustling patios. Upscale clothing boutiques, indie music venues and quaint piazzas dot the area, while the weekly Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market draws crowds to its mix of produce, gourmet food and craft stalls. The green lawns of Waterfront Park have fountains, and offer views of the bay.

5.00Lots of delicious authentic Italian foods I've never tried but really enjoyed. Our authentic Italian American guide was super interactive with the whole group and very knowledgeable about the area and the people who migrated here and their families still live here including so many locals who know him personally. So much fun! Thanks so much!

2.00The host was great but for me the food very disapponting and very little of it. Mushroom covered pizza (one small slice). Artichoke appetizer. Rizoli with mushrooms. A couple other dishes that were good but very small serving. Everything is served family style with the other 12 guest. You do not get to pick any of your food. You are at the mercy of what the host likes to eat. I can't eat mushrooms ir artichokes. I was really looking forward to good Italian spagetti, ravioli, lasagna, etc. None of that available. Sorry, this tour was not for me. Ps: tour is a little too long (4 hours).

5.00My husband and I have been on many food tours throughout the United States and world. I would rate this as one of our favorites! Anthony has a wealth of information about the history of the area and great stories and insights. The food choices were exceptional and unique. I would highly recommend this food tour. Thank you Anthony for making our evening great.

5.00We really enjoyed this tour! Anthony was personable, knowledgeable of everything Little Italy, and a great storyteller. The food was delicious at every stop! Well done! On a side note, there were three San Diego residents on our tour and we all agreed it was a great trip whether you were a tourist or local! Highly recommended!

5.00A great experience whether you are a local or visiting the city. Anthony was very informative about the history of Little Italy, the businesses, The restaurants we went to were unique to me, and I definitely will return to them.

5.00Anthony was a true expert on Little Italy, so this is a great way to learn about this neighborhood. The restaurant choices were excellent. Unlike some food tours, in this tour you actually are seated in private rooms in the restaurants to enjoy your tastings and to hear Anthony’s stories.
