Enjoy 5 sustainable, locally sourced wines, each selected for its character, terroir, and story. Guided by our expert, English-speaking sommeliers, you'll learn about regional grapes, vineyards, and winemaking traditions in a relaxed, engaging setting. Hosted in a beautifully restored 1800s silk loft, our tastings blend historic charm with modern comfort (including AC). With a maximum of 10 guests, it’s intimate, social, and tailored to wine lovers of all levels. Whether you're a curious beginner or seasoned sipper, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for French wine and Lyon’s unique role in it. Join us for a delicious, unforgettable journey—book your tasting today! Tastings are at 12pm or 4pm. Coming at lunch time? Don't worry, there is plenty of food!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting in Lyon, and it was truly a delightful experience. The setting was wonderfully intimate, allowing for a personal and engaging atmosphere. Our sommelier, Julia, was exceptional, sharing her expertise and passion with us as she guided us through each wine. It was a memorable journey of flavors, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a cozy and enriching wine-tasting adventure.

Fantastic wine tasting evening and exceptionally educational. We learned a bunch about the wine in France and did a blind taste test! Perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about French wine and have a lovely evening!

The tasting included 5 wines including one Cremant, two white wines and two red wines as well as a delicious selection of bread and charcuterie. C’est bon!

The wine tasting itself was really good, and our guide was excellent — very knowledgeable and clearly an expert on wine and the wine business. I learned a lot and enjoyed the overall experience. However, the portions were quite small for the price, and since the tasting was held in a single room, it felt like there should have been a bit more wine served. I’d still recommend it, but I’d suggest coming prepared and managing expectations about the pour sizes.

This experience was a wonderful, fact-filled and tasty introduction to French wines. Our guide (Madeleine) was amazing and we were very thankful to get to spend this time with her. The education and the blind tasting was especially effective. We highly recommend this activity for wine lovers or those interested in learning more!

What an incredible experience! This wine tasting was one of the highlights of our time in Lyon. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, yet deeply educational — a perfect balance between fun and insight. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Burgundy, Beaujolais, and Rhône regions, and shared stories that brought the wines to life — from the soil and climate to the passion of the winemakers. We learned so much while enjoying each tasting, and the selection was beautifully curated to showcase the range and personality of French wines. Each pour was perfectly paired with delicious local bites that complemented the flavors and enhanced the overall experience. It felt intimate, personal, and thoughtfully designed for anyone who loves wine — whether a beginner or a true enthusiast. We left with a deeper appreciation for French wine and a list of new favorites to look for on our travels. Lyon Wine Tastings exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’d absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lyon. A must-do!

Loved our experience with Ghulia, who was funny, energetic, and informative. Met some fun folks! We definitely picked the right experience for us-we learned lots, drank some great wines, and ate some delicious snacks. Caroline's loft in Croix-Russe was a beautiful and appropriate setting for the tasting. Highly recommend this worthwhile experience/hope to return someday soon.

Absolutely amazing! The tasting was exactly as described, our host Ghjulia was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and the wine and food were delicious! It was an intimate setting which made it that much more enjoyable. Given it was not at various wineries, the information provided was non-biased and we had ample time to discuss the wines in depth. We would highly recommend this tasting, it is truly one of a kind!
