Your guide will be glad to recommend the best local dining and touring experiences to make the most of your stay in Charleston. Please list dietary or mobility restrictions in the "special notes" area when booking and we will gladly substitute dishes and make accommodations as necessary. This is a timed tour, with reservations at each restaurant, so we ask that guests please be on time. *A minimum of three guests is required for this tour to operate."

3.00Like other reviews said there are only three stops, and the food was not anything worth writing home about other than the soup. She was very informative but had a point she wanted to make with the history she presented.
It was a great experience and fun time.

5.00Page was very informative regarding local history and how the food evolved with the blending of cultures in Charleston . The food was a good sampling and enough that we did not need to go for dinner afterwards as we were full. Great tour

5.00The very first tour we usually do in a city we visit is a food tour. This one was the best hands down if you enjoy good food and especially history. Paige is the best! She took us to three great restaurants and explained in detail the significance of the food to the local culture. At the end of our tour she gave everyone a gift bag of locally made butter cookies! In addition Paige explained the history of Charleston just like a professional storyteller! It was an interesting amazing afternoon. I highly recommend this tour for y’all visiting Charleston!
Wonderful guide, but wish there were stops at more restaurants.

4.00Page is very knowledgeable about Charleston history. It did feel more of a history tour than a food tour. There were only 3 stops. The food was very tasty just was expecting more stops. I would recommend explaining the itinerary and rules upfront. We ordered some additional food at a stop and that was frowned upon due to the time we’re allowed at each stop. It was a lot of history info being given to us and we never had discussions about the food, the flavors, what we thought.

1.00I booked a tour 48 hours in advance while staying in Surfside. It is a 2 hour drive to Charleston. Trip Advisor allowed me to choose a 1:30pm start time, which was perfect for us and the only time we could go. Trip was paid for and confirmed. ON THE DAY OF THE TRIP, I get a text message asking to confirm the time. Which I did. About 30 minutes later, I get a phone call explaining my Trip would be cancelled because for some reason they didnt realize for two days my time slot was 1:30 and they didnt have a guide. They explained i could come at 11am (this phone call took place at 10am and my star trek transporter was not working so not possible to get from Surfside to Charleston in 60 minutes), come at 4pm (not feasible as we are checking out tomorrow and need to load our motorcycle on the trailer) or tomorrow (also not possible we are heading home). Look. I understand mistakes happen, but TWO DAYS and you have no idea im coming? What were you doing for two days for your business? Trip Advisor was blamed, not being "techie" was blamed. Guess what? Hire someone who is. Everything is done via apps now. Super disappointed.
