Manavi
Manavi is a small traditional village located in the Kakheti wine region of eastern Georgia, about one hour from Tbilisi. The area is famous for its vineyards and authentic Georgian wine culture. Visitors often stop in Manavi to experience local traditions, taste homemade wines, and learn about traditional Georgian sweets such as churchkhela, which is made from grape juice and nuts. Surrounded by beautiful hills and vineyards, Manavi offers a peaceful atmosphere and a glimpse into rural life in Kakheti.
Badiauri
Badiauri is a small traditional village in the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia, located along the road from Tbilisi to Telavi. It is famous for its fresh Georgian bread called shoti, which is baked in a traditional clay oven known as a tone. Travelers often stop in Badiauri to taste warm bread straight from the oven, usually served with local cheese and homemade products. The village offers an authentic glimpse of Georgian rural life and traditional food culture.
Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino
Bodbe Monastery is one of the most important religious sites in Georgia, located near the town of Sighnaghi in the Kakheti region. The monastery is dedicated to St. Nino, the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century, and it is believed that her tomb is located here. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and overlooking the vast Alazani Valley, the monastery offers a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Today it functions as a convent where nuns live and maintain the historic complex. Many visitors come to Bodbe not only for its religious significance but also to enjoy the stunning views and tranquil environment.
Sighnaghi
Sighnaghi, often called the “City of Love,” is one of the most charming towns in Georgia, located in the Kakheti region overlooking the beautiful Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains. The town is known for its romantic atmosphere, colorful houses with wooden balconies, and cobblestone streets. Sighnaghi is surrounded by a historic defensive wall with watchtowers, making it one of the few walled towns in Georgia. Today it is a popular destination for couples and travelers thanks to its cozy cafés, wine culture, and stunning panoramic views. The town is also famous for its 24-hour wedding house, which has helped give Sighnaghi its nickname as the “City of Love.” Visitors often come here to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, local wine, and beautiful sunsets over the valley.
Chronicles Of Georgia
The Chronicles of Georgia is one of the most impressive monuments near Tbilisi, located on a hill overlooking the Tbilisi Sea. The monument was created by Georgian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli in 1985 and is sometimes called the “Stonehenge of Tbilisi.” The massive stone pillars are decorated with detailed carvings that tell the story of Georgian history and Christianity. The upper sections depict important Georgian kings, queens, and historical figures, while the lower panels show scenes from the life of Christ. Standing about 30 meters high, the monument offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Tbilisi Sea and surrounding landscape. It is a powerful place that combines history, religion, and monumental art, making it one of the most unique landmarks near the capital.

It was a great experience from start to finish. We visited multiple places and each one was a memorable one. The best bit was definitely tasting the different wines (along with the chachas and churchkhelas) and learning about each grape variety and more. The group was fun, the vibes were great, and a big thanks to Sandro for being a fantastic guide! Definitely recommend!

It was a very good experience overall and definitely value for money. Our guide, Natalia, was extremely friendly, helpful, and spoke fluent English. She made sure everyone felt included throughout the tour and consistently explained everything in English, even though we were the only couple in the group speaking English. Her energy and professionalism really made the experience enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the pickup and meetup process. We struggled to reach the provider at the morning meeting point, which caused some confusion and stress before the tour started. Also, the available pickup locations are quite limited, so expanding the pickup area options would make the experience much more convenient for travelers staying in different parts of the city.

I'd like to start with Nodo's organizer. Met him near a glass bridge. On the same day they wrote to see if there were tours in Signahi and he offered a large tour of Kakheti for GEL 60. We asked the next day, but as an experienced organizer he offered to come anyway because not everyone gets there :) Compared to boat trips for GEL 30 in Tbilisi, this tour is an incredible find. They drive around all day in the most interesting locations! There were even two wine and chachi tastings. I'd like to mention Natalia, the guide. Excellent positive communication and knows several languages. Therefore, communication with everyone was free and constantly duplicated in different languages. It was very nice that at the beginning Natalia met everyone, asking for names and who came from where. She gave great advice on where else to go or go. Answered all the additional questions. Natalia is ❤️❤️❤️
