You feel the Georgian history and culture in the beautiful countryside. The views from the all visited places are breathtaking. We'll meet you in front of the Bicycle Monument near Radisson Blu Iveria at 8:45AM (Rose revolution square. 50m from Rustaveli metro station) You will see our tour leader wearing a red scarf. If you are a group of more than four people, We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:15AM and take you to the old capital.

Jvari Church

After 30 minutes drive, we will arrive at Jvari Monastery. The name of this monastery is translated as the "Monastery of the Cross." Jvari Monastery is a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta. Along with other historic structures of Mtskheta, it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Jvari Monastery stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia.

This tour was fantastic especially with Freddie as a guide. Lots of history and a great way to see things that are close to Tbilisi but not in walking distance. We didn’t want to spend all day in the car and this tour was the perfect opportunity.

I made this tour for my friends and they were not disappointed just like me a Georgian I met many people and discovered some interesting details about the country’s second capital Mtskheta The monuments of Georgia are astonishing with their massive structures and engraved images of our historical leaders It’s a great destination if you have friends from different countries and want to impress them

Freddy is an Exceptional tour guide, with immense knowledge of history. He is also very humorus and fun and you wouldnt know how the time passed away. We covered eveything on schedule. The tour covers exceptional photographic places in a short span of time. Really good half day tour.

Our tour with Tanu was wonderful! This half-day trip felt very rich, engaging and perfectly paced. From the moment we met her, Tanu created a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that instantly made us feel comfortable. Tanu shared interesting stories and personal recommendations, encouraging all our questions and offering any assistance. Her kindness, energy, and knowledge made the whole experience amazing. Anyone coming to Tbilisi should definitely consider this tour with Tanu!

I was lucky that my tour guide was Freddy, and he was the same guide I had the day before. There’s nothing more to say — he is extremely genuine, friendly, and pleasant. Their timing is always perfect and very well organized.

Great short tour from Tbilisi. We had amazing weather and easy schedule. Freddie and Toko were super friendly, safe drive and informative. Highly recommend if you don't want to go too far from the city.
