Everything about this tour is a hit. We take you to places older than most of the sites you will see in most other countries in Europe. 6th Century Monastery,11th Century Church, and the ancient capital of Georgia. You feel the Georgian history and culture in the beautiful countryside. The views from the all visited places are breathtaking. This short excursion is an excellent opportunity to meet other travelers and our fantastic, knowledgeable, super-cool guides. We try to tell you many exciting stories about the places and in general. Rose Revolution Square
We'll meet you in front of the Bicycle Monument near Radisson Blu Iveria at 8:45AM (Rose revolution square. 50m from Rustaveli metro station) You will see our tour leader wearing a red scarf. If you are a group of more than four people, We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:15AM and take you to the old capital.
Jvari Monastery
After 30 minutes drive, we will arrive at Jvari Monastery. The name of this monastery is translated as the "Monastery of the Cross." Jvari Monastery is a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta. Along with other historic structures of Mtskheta, it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Jvari Monastery stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia.

5.00The locations were amazing. I went for chronicles of Georgia and it was totally worth it. The monument is enormous and breathtaking. The church is beautiful and you get to see tiny flowers around too. The view around is pretty. The monastry was good but the wine and snack tasting after that were even better experiences. We did get a bit late coming back and that could have been avoided or we have a lunch break.

5.00Fantastic day. It was our last day and we wanted to do something fun. It was a great tour! Not too long, and we saw a lot of great sights. Nick is awesome! He was really kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and funny!
