Our Night Sky Star Safari is a comprehensive stargazing activity for all. Including a meal at an authentic Canarian restaurant on our way up the mountain and also stopping for an amazing sunset from above the Sea of Clouds, our activity is your introduction to the night sky, stars and the Universe. It includes the guided use of telescopes for night sky observation of visible planets, the Moon, stars, galaxies & more. Join us as we take a safari trek across the night sky with our lasers using constellations and detailed explanations of the science and mythology by expert astronomy guides. While in Tenerife, these astronomy tours are an ideal excursion for holiday makers, taking advantage of Tenerife being one of the best locations in the world for both professional and amateur astronomy. Our aim is that you have fun observing the sky and making it easy for you. We hope to give you as many WOW moments as possible!

Our Pick Ups are from the South Zone only. We have a few stops at hotels picking up and then Drive straight to our first stop, the restaurant!

We stop after pick ups and a short drive, at one of the local Canarian restaurants. Here you have a light meal and drinks and get to converse with the other travellers on the trip. It's a great way to meet new people with a similar interest as you. The menu is... Pork steak from the restaurants own farm and BBQ Chicken with Canarian Pots & salad, to finish a cake. Both meals include your first drink and water Wine and soft drinks are on table as well. (Vegetarian and Vegan Options available any day, also we can cater for Coeliacs) Canarian food is simple but tasty, get an insight into the traditional canarian diet!

1.00I went with the vegetarian food option and was served a dessert with gelatin in it, and I told the staff I couldn't eat it because I was vegetarian but they insisted it was okay because they used "only a little bit of gelatin". I was not offered an alternative dessert despite these being on display, or a partial refund. This also made me very uncomfortable about the contents of the rest of the meal, as I was worried they had also used a meat stock for my main course. I recommend those with meat-related dietary requirements to bring their own food!

5.00We did the Sunset & Stargazing with Dinner tour last night as a family of four (with two teens) while staying at the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife – and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip! We were picked up right on time by coach at 7pm and returned around 1am. From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly and was really well organised. Our guide, Craig was super knowledgeable, and also genuinely passionate about what he does – which made all the difference. Thanks so much! Dinner was at a local restaurant – rice, potatoes and chicken, followed by chocolate cake. We had a scenic drive up through Teide National Park, where we sopped and watched the sunset from above the clouds, surrounded by volcanic landscapes - really beautiful. We got a glass of bubbly (or orange juice for the kids) to toast the view! The stargazing was brilliant. I appreciated the education - Craig's knowledge was amazing. Warm puffer jackets were offered (which was a nice touch – it does get chilly up there!) and we were given hot chocolate while we listened to fascinating, easy-to-follow explanations about constellations, planets, dying stars, and galaxies. We got to look through telescopes - an extraordinary view. Craig clearly loves what he does and made everything super engaging, especially for teens! This tour is an absolute must-do if you’re in Tenerife. It was relaxing, educational, beautiful, and totally different from your usual beach day. Worth every penny. We’d 100% do it again on a future trip. Tip: rest in the afternoon beforehand - it’s a late night, but so worth it!

4.00All the hotel pickups is treacherous but you see a lot of the cities along the southern shore. The food was decent. Able to see an amazing sunset but the clouds were too long so the tours was cut short without seeing any stars. They said this is extremely rare with this happening an average of only 10 days a year…there were two days in one week…so either terribly unlucky or just a roll of the dice. Overall it was a good experience.
