Our Night Sky Star Safari is a comprehensive stargazing activity for all. Including a meal at an authentic Canarian restaurant on our way up the mountain and also stopping for an amazing sunset from above the Sea of Clouds, our activity is your introduction to the night sky, stars and the Universe. It includes the guided use of telescopes for night sky observation of visible planets, the Moon, stars, galaxies & more. Join us as we take a safari trek across the night sky with our lasers using constellations and detailed explanations of the science and mythology by expert astronomy guides. While in Tenerife, these astronomy tours are an ideal excursion for holiday makers, taking advantage of Tenerife being one of the best locations in the world for both professional and amateur astronomy. Our aim is that you have fun observing the sky and making it easy for you. We hope to give you as many WOW moments as possible!

Our Pick Ups are from the South Zone only. We have a few stops at hotels picking up and then Drive straight to our first stop, the restaurant!

We stop after pick ups and a short drive, at one of the local Canarian restaurants. Here you have a light meal and drinks and get to converse with the other travellers on the trip. It's a great way to meet new people with a similar interest as you. The menu is... Pork steak from the restaurants own farm and BBQ Chicken with Canarian Pots & salad, to finish a cake. Both meals include your first drink and water Wine and soft drinks are on table as well. (Vegetarian and Vegan Options available any day, also we can cater for Coeliacs) Canarian food is simple but tasty, get an insight into the traditional canarian diet!

5.00What a spectacular night. On one hand we were lucky enough to go on a night where we had the brightest full moon of the year. We got some amazing views of the moon as a result. Unfortunately the brightness of the moon impacted our ability to see some of the stars, but the great folks at Night Skies Tenerife provided great shots through their telescopes. Some real WOW moments, especially of Saturn. Thank you for providing great pictures, getting us to a spot where we witnessed a colorful sunset, providing a good meal and an overall memorable night.

4.00We opted for the transport and dinner option (dinner was around 5, so keep that in mind), which was good value (£70pp at time of review). The guides were great throughout - clearly knew their stuff; one of them was nerding out a bit, which is a clear show of passion. Was expecting to see more of the night sky, but the bright full moon may have made it harder. Would have liked to see more in the telescope.. Great view of the sunset, surrounding areas and the moon! Had plenty of coats for everyone (I should have grabbed one) You get free copies of the professional photos/videos of everything! Would recommend

4.00The experience overall is nice, Sonja was our guide and was real helpful and considerate the whole time. However, there was one thing I did find weird and uncomfortable. When I was lining up for telescope, One of the male staff use Laser pointer DIRECLTLY ON MY FACE asking if I was part of the group. 1. This is EXTREMELY RUDE AND WEIRD. whether I was out not, it DOSE NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT to directly laser someone's face, not to mention it hurts the eyes. 2. I was with the group the whole time, I don't know what made u think that I was a solo tourist taking advantage of your equipment. More importantly, after I told him I was in the group, he simply went "then it must be someone else" without any apology. I do like the arrangement and in the end Sonja was kind enough to arrange faster drop off. But I do find the whole laser thing absurd and the staff should've handled it more appropriately.
A must do excursion when in Tenerife!!

5.00Absolutely brilliant evening with Night Skies! So much value for the money. Meal and drink included before the tour. Beautiful sunset spot, free glass of Cava while you watch the sun go down. Pictures taken by the tour operator at both the sunset spot and up in the mountains for star gazing are free of charge and are better than anything I could ever have taken! The staff are friendly, funny and so informative and are clearly passionate about what they do which really brought it to life. This is a must see when in Tenerife, you’ll never have a night like it. So glad we booked!

5.00Trip was excellent. Take a jumper in November- February. They have coats you can use too. Food was basic but ok. You can choose the trip without the food option. Set off at 3.50pm and got back to hotel around 10pm.

5.00We had a wonderful experience — everything was perfectly organized and the whole staff was incredibly kind and professional. A special mention goes to Sonja, who made the experience even more enjoyable with her knowledge and friendliness. The only suggestion I would make: if possible, choose a night with no moon and a clear sky for the best experience!

5.00To be honest I wasn’t feeling too good , and nearly cancelled last minute, in case there wasn’t access to a loo! (This is restricted after the restaurant stop) I’m so glad I didn’t!! Whilst the bus was 20minutes late picking us up, Sonja, the excellent guide was apologetic and explained why. She gave great information on the island during the short journey to the restaurant. The food stop wasn’t good for me, hardly touched it as I was feeling rough, but my wife enjoyed the chicken but said it was a bit dry. The sundowner experience was verygood. A complimentary drink, and free photographs and Timelapse are taken and sent afterwards. Stargazing was where the night really excelled. Well organised, very informative, great equipment and amazing sights, even though it wasn’t the best night to see everything apparently. Even got a nice hot chocolate too! I would definitely recommend
Worthwhile afternoon/evening tour.

5.00Teide by Night was absolutely incredible! The staff were beyond amazing, you could really tell they love what they do. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. The service felt personal and genuine from start to finish. The Views were absolutely amazing, breathtaking and so many WOW moments, its crazy what you cant see with the naked eye until you up Teide with a telescope. Highly recommend Teide by Night to anyone looking for great service, great vibes, and a view that will leave you speechless! 🌟

5.00Everything went perfectly, from hotel pick up to the restaurant and from sunset to the telescopes. Warm welcome to the crew with a clear explanation there were also free professional photos taken both at dinner and sunset as well as at the telescopes. We got a glass of cava or a fruit juice at the sunset and could enjoy the sunset. When stargazing we got a hot chocolate in between and we could possibly get warm coats. We were very lucky that there were no clouds and was still quite warm. Highly recommended
