Explore Tenerife’s Anaga Mountains and Enchanted Forest on a guided full-day hike with scenic viewpoints, volcanic ridges, laurel woodland, a cave village, and photo memories. We pick you up from your hotel or apartment and head into Anaga Rural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Inside the park, we make one or two scenic stops, depending on weather and visibility, to enjoy panoramic views of Tenerife’s landscape. We briefly pass through the Enchanted Forest, a mossy, misty laurel woodland — just enough to feel its magic and take a few memorable photos. Your guide shares stories and insights in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere throughout the day. On the way to a remote area of Anaga, where the main hike begins, you’ll see a cave village carved into the rock — a glimpse into traditional island life. The trail (approx. 7 km, 230 m elevation) winds through ridges, green valleys, and ends along a historic water channel. Moderate difficulty, varied terrain. We enjoy a picnic in nature — in a cave or on a slope, depending on conditions. The hike lasts 3.5–4.5 hours; the full tour takes about 7 hours. After the tour, you’ll receive 20–40 digital photos as a memory of your day in Anaga.

5.00...We are very excited about the day we spent with Alexander. We've learned a lot about the island of Tenerife. We have overcome such an uphill and downhill!!!!! If the husband had seen what lay ahead of him on this day, he would never have agreed 🤭😉 I think Alexander can feel such, customers,... and With unobtrusive questions and jokes is a clever distraction!!!! And it's only sitting on the dock and looking down 🤭 feelings of pride! - replaces feelings of fear👌👏 Very professionally and soulfully thought out every hour of the itinerary: proportionally packed light lunch, drink and even dessert(it is so happily eaten). Alexander has everything with him for every guest: auxiliary poles for climbing and descending - without them! Helmet, little compact flashlight! Everything he has with him- for every guest ☝️ Cherry on the cake extreme rise!!!! Pride - over the edge!!!! You feel like a Rock Climber! Hero!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! To this Day!!!! 5.00We saw goats and passed an actual shepherd! This hike is the perfect combination of challenge and beauty. There are lots of breaks along the way and the views are spectacular. Alex made sure we took time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. Stick with this small group hike with a guide that loves what he does.

5.00A worthwhile adventure with our amazing guide, Alex. It is fun and challenging hike. Alex has made it easier with his amusing narratives of the area’s history and geography, his patience not to rush those that is less capable and to let us know what to do when the trail is more difficult.

5.00Be prepared for some effort, but although there’s some physical challenge from the terrain, the effort is more on the mental side and conquering fears. However the views throughout and satisfaction at the end make it well worth it. Alex is encouraging and makes light of otherwise maybe scary moments, he’s also well-prepared with equipment and snacks. There’s not much time in the forest, but the main hike is worth the time there. Both my husband and I would do the experience again and will be looking to see what other hikes Alex offers. We were nervous but had a great day.
