  This was a nice tour of Teotihucan and Guadalupe shrine. Our guide Gio made the tour enjoyable. The restaurant had a good vegetarian options for the lunch.

  I booked the tour to Tlatelolco, the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Teotihuacan — and it exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, Simón, our driver, was excellent: punctual, friendly, and incredibly skilled navigating the city. The ride was smooth and safe, which made the whole experience even better. Our tour guides, Lili and Sergio, were truly outstanding. They are, without a doubt, some of the best guides I’ve ever had. Their passion for Mexico — its history, its culture, and its deep heritage — was powerful and contagious. Every explanation was delivered with knowledge, heart, and genuine pride. You could feel how much they love their country, and that made every stop meaningful. The visit to the obsidian workshop was also a highlight. The demonstration was fascinating, and the pieces were beautiful — I even bought a few items because it’s so hard to find authentic obsidian of that quality anywhere else. Tlatelolco was incredibly informative, the Basilica of Guadalupe was moving, and Teotihuacan was absolutely breathtaking. But what made the day unforgettable were the people leading it. Kudos to Simón, Sergio, and Lili — they turned a great itinerary into one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended to anyone visiting CDMX.

  Mario was amazing and a great guide, he was very knowledgeable and helpful! The tour that we booked took us to a couple of different places around Mexico City and I would say booking this tour is a must if you are in Mexico City!

  We saw things on the tour that we didn’t know that we would see. We learned a lot from Lily and can’t wait to return. Seeing Teotihuacan was a dream come true.

  We don’t usually book guided tours, preferring to go it alone, but glad we chose to go on this tour. The itinerary was well thought out and went at a good pace. Our guide Lily was extremely friendly and knew the history and all of the information on the sights that we visited. Her commentary was invaluable and delivered in an entertaining manner, while still being thorough! Having been a tour guide myself many years ago, I have a deep respect for the tour she conducted. Our driver Frederico chauffeured us from sight to sight with complete professionalism, safety, and courteousness. A friendly wonderful driver. I would give Lily and Frederico both a rating of 10 out of 10.

  Great experience with the tour guy Gerson. He introduced the site clearly and flexible to schedule and we saw the wonderful sunset from lady Guadeloupe

• Not enough time for main attractions

  Visiting the 2 main attractions felt rushed, with not enough time to absorb what Teotihuacan and Guadalupe Shrine could offer. Conversely, we spent 40 minutes at a craftsman/artisan shop, which was a huge “tourist trap” with sky-high prices. Our package included a lunch buffet. The food was very bad with very limited variety. The restaurant was crowded with a long line to get your food. Service was also very slow at the restaurant, taking a long time to bring the requested drinks to the table. The tour guides, Fernanda and Miriam, were very energetic and provided good information/content at the main attractions. Having more time to spend at Teotihuacan and the Guadalupe Shrine would’ve allowed the guides to provide more historical content at the sites, which I feel was limited.

  It was a truly unique experience, the guide team (Alex, Alicia and Alberto) were exceptionally kind and professional from min 1. They created a great atmosphere in each of the stages and places we visited, keeping us informed with history, historical landmarks and plan to follow. The team size was not too big so it was easy to follow. The value this package provides for what it costs is totally unmatched, I truly recommend the experience to anyone visiting Mexico City, you will not regret it.

  In my opinion, the travel agency does not meet the expectations. Communication is erroneous and they have absolutely no respect for customer's time. I understand errors and i.consider that recovery is important in showing people that you care about your reputation. Unfortunately this is not the case for Amigo Tours. They re focused on short term gains at all costs.
