Stop reading this review and book this tour immediately! Rogelio is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with him, and it’s clear he’s very passionate about his work. While the tour itself was stellar, the true highlight for us was getting to learn about Rogelio during our car ride and pick his brain about the history of Mexico. If you are going to book a tour in Mexico City, I highly recommend you do so with Rogelio. The tour itself was fantastic. It felt less like a “tour” and more like a morning spent with a very knowledgeable friend. It was perfectly paced, and full of just the right amount of information.

The entire tour experience was totally great! Rogelio picked us up from our hotel on time and was an excellent driver. We arrived at the pyramids and were treated to a guided tour with detailed history of the site including construction, rituals, milestones and culture. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a relaxing, laid back experience!

Rogelio was an excellent driver and tour guide! He communicated well before and after the tour, picked us up in time, and most importantly knew his way around the pyramids and their detailed histories. We learned a lot, had a most pleasant day, and it was just the right amount of time (about 5 and a half hours door to door with little traffic). Definitely recommend, was one of the highlights of our visit to Mexico City.

What are the best qualities of a tour guide: knowledge, experience, flexibility, patience, personality and professionalism. Roger Luna has ALL of them. He led our group of 10 not only to the pyramids of Teotihuacan but also touring within the city. If you use his services you are in for a great experience.

We booked a tour of Teotihuacan on a whim through our hotel and could not be more pleased. Rogelio is a very kind, patient, accommodating, and friendly tour guide. He picked us up after breakfast and he gave us the grand tour and history of Mexico City as we drove out to the pyramids. His tour through Teotihuacan was extremely informative and interesting and we appreciate how he curated the tour for us and helped us take some photos. Our Spanish is very elementary, but Rogelio spoke perfect English, so there was no language barrier. On the drive back to our hotel, he gave us a bunch of recommendations on how to spend the rest of our time in Mexico City - we did almost all of them and they did not disappoint. Not sure how the price matches up with other private tours, but this was 100% worth it. 10/10 recommend!

Rogelio Luna was a fantastic guide-- punctual, knowledgeable, and patient. Transportation for 7 adults from our apartment rental to Teotihuacan was comfortable and he provided commentary on history and architecture along the way. Rogelio was also very accommodating of our scheduling needs and gave terrific recommendations for activities in the Mexico City. He even helped us find another guide for a separate trip. Excellent experience-- our highest recommendations!

In October 2025, my husband and I booked a private tour of Teotihuacan through Luna Touring, which included round-trip transportation from our Mexico City hotel and the Nuevo Cielo hot air balloon experience at sunrise. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable day — truly the highlight of our week in Mexico City. Our guide, Rogelio, was exceptional. He arrived ahead of schedule for our very early morning pickup, greeting us with warmth and good humor despite the hour. My husband is a native Spanish speaker and I’m a beginner, and Rogelio switched seamlessly between Spanish and English, making both of us feel completely at ease. He’s one of those rare guides you instantly feel comfortable with — personable, professional, and deeply knowledgeable. The balloon ride itself was incredible, and Rogelio made it effortless for us. We just had to get up early - he handled the logistics, guided us through the process, and even captured photos and videos that he later shared with us, to help preserve the memories. After the balloon flight, we stopped for a very good buffet-style breakfast at a nearby restaurant before heading to the Teotihuacan site. Rogelio’s tour of the ruins was fascinating. He wove together history, culture, and storytelling in a way that brought the place to life. Beyond his expertise, he’s simply a joy to spend the day with — engaging, and can converse intelligently on any topic that comes up. I can’t recommend Luna Touring and Rogelio highly enough to anyone visiting Mexico City. Whether you’re a couple or a family, if you’re looking for an authentic, well-organized, and genuinely memorable tour of Teotihuacan, this is the one to book.

The day w/Rogelio at Teotihuacan was fantástic. He gave us soo much information even in the car ride out of the city. We happened upon a highway closure that he was able to navigate w/o undo stress. He knows the area so well that he even brought us to an off the beat tómale stand and took pics of our group of 7 many times for us. We also had to stop to use the restroom a few times, not a problem for him. He also recommended and navigated a few of the vendor stands for us on the way out. It was very helpful that many restaurant owners know him. Rogelio was always super accomodating.
