5.00Najmi was our guide for the day and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He is more than familiar with Kalang Rengas, and its wildlife and trees. On our 3h, 8-9km easy kayak ride through the shallow creek, we managed to spot dusky monkeys, macaques, monitor lizards, an otter, kingfishers and two herds of water buffaloes. It was what we came to Terengganu for! Tip: make sure you arrange for a return driver as Grab drivers are hard to come by in Hulu Berang. Najmi went the extra mile to see that we got back to our hotel safely. This activity is highly recommended!
