5.00Our experience with both Iain and Lewis from Highland Tour Company was exceptional rom beginning to end. We enjoyed a personalized itinerary, crafted specifically around our interests in history, heritage, and the local culture. Prior to our tour, they took the time to contact us several times and gain an understanding of our interests and schedule, and then used that information we provided to build a thoughtfully planned day of exploration. It seemed that each stop of the day felt intentionally chosen. From historic landmarks to points of interest, our guide Lewis provided wonderful recommendations and engaging anecdotes. Our tour combined major historic highlights with additional sites throughout the day that we never would’ve found on our own! Which was the exact reason we hired them! From a centuries-old ruin, a castle and garden with a fascinating story about the occupants who still reside there, a café for lunch, or a tiny local gin distillery, every stop added to our adventure. It was clear that every detail was carefully thought out to maximize our time throughout the day. If you’re looking for a truly customized, insightful, and enjoyable tour experience we can’t recommend Highland Tour Company highly enough. This was more than just sightseeing. If we had discovered them earlier we would have definitely arranged a longer tour! Lewis made us feel like honored guests, not just tourists. A truly wonderful day of Highland adventure!!

Their bespoke tour was perfectly tailored to our needs, with a thoughtful itinerary that balanced stunning sights, engaging history, and enough flexibility to keep things relaxed and enjoyable. They were especially accommodating and understanding of the needs of our small neurodivergent children—patient, respectful, and proactive in creating a comfortable environment for everyone. 5.00This tour was great. First of all, it was fully customizable. The Highland Tours Company worked with us to setup an itinerary that completely suited our wants. We got to see a little bit of everything (Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor castle etc.). The highlight for us was being on a boat on Loch Ness. It was an absolutely stunning day. The vistas were nothing short of spectacular. Our guide Lewis was a terrific guy and well versed in his country's history. He was very cognizant of the day's schedule and ensuring we got to see everything no matter how long it took. He made a lot of good suggestions about places to go, eat and see in the Inverness area. The service by this tour company was top notch. Would high recommend them.

5.00Quite literally Highland Tour Co saved our vacation. My husband and I wrecked our rental car and our 11 day vacation was completely based on having transportation. Thankfully our hotel contacted Highland and at the last minute they were able to pick us up by noon for a half day tour. After just spending the afternoon with Lewis and Iain we decided to enlist their help another two days. Lewis and Iain are so warm and personable. You feel immediately comfortable and have trust in their knowledge. We'd already booked three additional private tours through our travel agent in other parts of Scotland and they didn't come close to being as much fun and informative as Highland. They are always attune to what they sense you might need or want to do. They don't just drive pointing out attractions in a dull monotone. They engage you in their enthusiasm for the sites and people. I just can't praise them enough. You will be doing yourself a huge favor utilizing their services.
