All of our guides are basque foodies and want to show you why. They will take you around the city from bar to bar discovering the local food, pintxos, and some local drinks as well.

Many pintxos and 5 wines pairings included.

You will get to know the history of Basque language and the Basque people, differences between Spain and Basque country and the past and present of Bilbao. We will adapt the route depending on whether you are more eager to walk and see places or if want to try more local foods. You will visit bars and restaurants off the beaten track, avoiding the tourists and experiencing the city like a true local.

We went to five places to experience different wine pintxos and wine pairings. Both the food and wine were excellent. Our guy Jack was extremely knowledgeable about not only the food, but the customs and history of the Basque area.

This was a great introduction to the food of Basque country and our guide was informative and knowledgeable. Pintxos at different bars/cafes/restaurants paired with different wines, each separated by a walk around the streets of Bilbao was very enjoyable!

Jack was an amazing tour guide! A great tour with great food and history of the region. We learned so much while having so much fun, by far one of the best tours we have done!

We had a wonderful evening with Ashley as she shared the stories of not only the pinxtos and drinks she selected (which were delicious!) but the Basque culture and history. She was a fun, friendly and informative guide - we thoroughly enjoyed her company and highly recommend her tour!

We were lucky enough to have Jack as our guide for the afternoon tour, and he made the experience fantastic from start to finish. Our small group was the perfect size, and Jack’s energy and knowledge stood out right away. He shared stories about Bilbao’s history over a glass of white wine and an incredible crab pintxo on toasted bread that set the tone for the rest of the tour. Each stop after that had its own local specialty, and Jack kept the pace just right, staying engaging, funny, and always making sure we were enjoying ourselves. This was easily one of the best tours we’ve done anywhere. If you’re in Bilbao, book it and hope you get Jack. You won’t be disappointed.
