If this tour is unavailable, try our 5.5 hr! It is very similar. You will leave the Kihei boat ramp and go South to the Kanaio Coast. A brief stop at Makena to check on everyone and serve a continental breakfast, then off we go to Kanaio. We sightsee the Kanaio Coastline, sea caves, lava arches and compression caves. Then we head back and 1st stop is La Perouse Bay for snorkeling. After that we are off to Molokini for more snorkeling. If conditions permit we snorkel both the backwall as well as inside the crater. Then it is off to our turtle sight for our last snorkel stop. We will each lunch there after snorkeling. Then its back to the Kihei Boat ramp.

5.00Captain Joe and Austin were amazing! Fun on the waves, we went into a cave, snorkelling in the very deep blue water. Turtles, octopus, barracuda, an aquarium of fish!!!

2.00Beware. This is not a family friendly trip. The conditions off the Kanaio coast get extremely rough, 10ft+ swells closely spaced. We were not warned about this. My 9yo was scared. My 6yo was scared to the point of crying. Go back and read their description of this trip. Does it match what I am typing here... The Captain: Too glib in his brief. He did nothing to prepare us for what we were about to face. His approach boiled down to: "give the punters what they want, and if they didn't know well too bad." Turning up the Black Sabbath up to 11 did nothing to enhance his credibility. The Boat. No PFDs were offered to my children. Punters (half of them) are expected to sit on the sides of the boat. If someone had "bounced out" during that first hour I'm not sure the Cowboy in charge would have had a clue where they were. -Ask anyone that was on the boat on Tues July 8th. They will tell you that bouncing out was a real possibility. My 9yo has blisters on her knuckles from holding on to the rope and rubbing against the inflatable. The Snorkling: The sites chosen were sheltered, a welcome relief from the trip there. The turtle-cleaning station was exceptional. There are their two stars. Summary: I will be contacting the regulatory authorities about this company. The sea is no place for cowboys. especially when young and inexperienced lives are in their charge.

5.00This excursion was beyond our expectations. The staff was organized and friendly. We we swam with turtles and even came across a pod of dolphins. It didn’t feel too touristy with a small number aboard the boat. It all in all was a 10/10 day.

5.00Best day trip on Maui. The crew, Daniel and Angela were awesome. They kept things funny and light while providing really interesting facts . We didn’t just go to some of the best snorkeling spots (aquarium looking scenery, cliff edge that goes down into the trench, volcano crater, and the place were turtle come in to get their shells cleaned by other fish). Super fun, safe, and exciting

5.00I've been on several boat tours on Maui, and Blue Water is hands down the best on island! If you want friendly and knowledgeable captains with expertise in snorkeling destinations and an almost guarantee to see dolphins, turtles, sea caves and in season whales, book with the best, Blue Water Rafting! Huge shout out to Austin the deck hand for making our tour memorable and being so knowledgeable and kind, and Captain Ben for knowing all the special local spots. Can't wait for our next adventure

5.00This tour was the highlight of our stay on Maui! We loved seeing the sea caves and lava arches and rugged Kanaio Coastline. Seeing all of the colorful fish and the turtles while snorkeling was awesome. And since we’re here in January, whales were plentiful as well…many breaching and providing a spectacular display (this was icing on the cake since this was a snorkeling tour, not a whale watching tour.
We LOVED blue water rafting!

5.00Highlight of our trip by far! Family of five with a 15yr old, 13yr old and 10yr old. From the crazy swell to the beautiful turtles, the boat ride and adventure was a hit for all. Thanks to Captain Scott, his rocking playlist and super fun first mate Angela. We had a great day with you guys! Mahalo!!!!

5.00Been on many Maui boat trips and this was one of the best. Part thrill ride to the sea caves and then 4 great snorkeling stops including both sides of Molokini. Places big boats can’t access. Plus a great captain Highly recommend

5.00I have gone out with them several times and will never go with anyone else!!. If you only do one excursion, this is the one to do. They are the only one's that go to the Kanaio Coast and its well worth the adventure. The staff has always been amazing and if you are lucky enough to get the owner as your captain, his "dad jokes" are hilarious. I have done the Kanaio Cost, Molokini and Whale Watching trips with them and all were amazing.
