Sail in the Caribbean paradise of St Maarten on a casual yet upscale cruise within walking distance from the cruise ships and close to most resorts. Some days we leave from Philipsburg and other days we leave from Simpson Bay. Your day includes real sailing, homemade lunch and unlimited drinks from the open bar. Relax on a cushioned seat in the sun or shade aboard the Random Wind as you travel up the coast. This family-friendly yacht takes you away from it all; snorkeling, paddle boarding and plenty of fun on board with the TARZAN SWING! Enjoy personal attention on this small-group tour, limited to 30 people.

We usually stop twice during the day both; stops are in the Caribbean Sea. We don’t go into the Atlantic Ocean. At the first we snorkel, paddle board, kayak, swim to the beach, hang with noodles.....and have lunch. We shop each morning. Marinated chicken skewers, captain grilled, green salad, baguette, lovely Caribbean rice. Would you like a rum punch with that? At the second stop we swing from the Tarzan swing. Those between 2 and 89 have enjoyed this easy, safe and super fun trapeze-type swing. The bar is always open and included and if you are hungry after swinging - or laughing - have a snack!

5.00A really great day on the water. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. The catamaran was clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the drinks were flowing. 5.00I booked the cruise and my food restrictions were easily accommodated. On the morning of the charter I awoke with terrible vertigo and let the company know. I didn’t expect a reply or any compensation but was met with kindness and generosity from Diane. I didn’t get to do the charter, but if the customer service is on the same level as the cruise itself, I’m sure it was wonderful! I will rebook if I go back and wish Random Wind charters a great season!!

5.00Took a family trip to Saint Maarten and had a great experience on The Random Wind- crew was friendly and attentive and our day was filled with good food, good drinks and great people. The Tarzan Swing was a big hit with our family and of course we all loved the canine first mate Queenie! Five stars for sure!

5.00My husband and I went on the day cruise in December. Everyone was very welcoming and upbeat. The cruise was very comfortable, not overcrowded. They were very attentive to what we would like to drink from a fabulous rum punch to glasses of water. We snorkeled over a sunken submarine and helicopter. It was very cool. We saw lots of fish as well. They provided an excellent lunch with chicken, rice and salad. Then we sailed to a second location and everyone that wanted, had a go at the Tarzan swing. Fun to watch. Their dog, Queenie was adorable❤️ Great experience, fun day!

5.00You will experience beautiful sailing, snorkeling, jumping off the Tarzan swing, excellent service, great drinks and beer, and a wonderful meal. Wear your bathing suit, bring a towel and sunscreen and bring money to tip and buy bracelets to benefit the stray dogs on the island.
A wonderful trip you’ll want to do again and again.

5.00What a really fantastic day it was. They don't go too far offshore, so seasickness was not an issue. My husband usually suffers from and was worried, but it was not a problem at all. The lunch was fantastic, the drinks kept us well "hydrated" all day. The owner, her helper, and her captain were amazing, friendly and helpful. At no time did i feel unsafe in anyway. I really can't say enough good things about this day. I highly recommend!!

5.00This catamaran was for my birthday and although it had rained, I can truly say that I enjoyed myself. Usually, I don't leave reviews because I feel everyone will have a different experience regardless. However, I want to share with others the kindness and warmth that Anna, her husband/Captain, and even their dog Queenie expressed with us while we were sailing. From the moment you meet Anna, her positive energy radiates and makes you excited to sail. (Queenie will be there to supervise, btw but I promise you won't get enough of her). Once on the boat, drinks were flowing consistently and the lunch served was amazing! As we passed by some areas, Anna was very informative and happy to share any info that she had about the island. Though, our sail was cut short because of the rain we still made the best of it and were even partially reimbursed. Overall, I enjoyed myself and had a wonderful experience. I want to thank you all for sharing your home with us and for your kindness. I pray your business continues to flourish! :)

5.00Captain Scotty, Anna, Jackie and the sweet Miss Queenie made this day amazing! From start to finish the hospitality was incredible. The lunch was also amazing as well. Can’t wait to come back and do this tour again!
