You will have an unforgettable experience and impression during 4 hours of cycling in 8 different areas of the inner city. It's an easy pace. All routes are made in collaboration with cycling KL. Your local guide will show you the City of Contrasts and Diversity in a safe way. High visibility by wearing orange safety vests is provided.
There are stops after each 10 - 12 minutes and the excellent speaking English guide tells interesting stories about the culture and history of the capital.
In case you want to have the tour in another language and/or different starting time you have to book the tour as a private one. You can request this by sending a mail to [email protected]
On our Dutch orange bikes with a basket you are flexible and will easily go through the back alleys. You will visit a temple and taste fruit at an old market. A delicious local brunch with drinks will also be provided.
We provide 2 guides for every 7 people.

5.00Me and my mother did ‘The best of Kuala Lumpur classic’ tour from 8am until midday. We had an absolutely excellent time and it was a great way to see so many different areas within Kuala Lumpur, with loads of interesting information provided by our guide Bala. I was slightly sceptical of how this would go, considering I don’t cycle much and Kuala Lumpur is a city busy with traffic. However, we arrived at MikeBikes and the staff were very friendly, they provided us with near new bright orange bikes, bright orange vests and water. They made sure the bikes were suited to us, adjusting the size and seat position. The bikes were very easy to ride and had baskets to store backpacks etc. Most of the cycling was down quiet roads and Bala adjusted his pace to suit us, with regular stops every 7 minutes or so to see sights. There were a few busy main roads we went onto near the end of the tour, but Bala guided us well and although there aren’t many cyclists in KL, car/bus/motorbike drivers were very respectful and wary of us. It was great to learn about Kampung Bara and be taken into the village to learn about the Malaysian culture and smell the different plants used for cooking, something other tour guide companies aren’t allowed to do. We did loads of things along the way but a highlight for me was going to the Fruit, Veg and Meat markets and tasting different fruits. Leave some room for food as we also had a traditional Malaysian brunch. Bala added to the fun and was great to be around. Overall it was a fantastic start to our holiday and I’m so glad we did it!

5.00Fantastic fun bike tour with David and Ping. What a beautiful city, what diverse, and what colorful! David and Ping brought us safely through the heavy traffic. Brunch was delicious and p the right time. Nice mix of culture and history. So highly recommended this tour!

5.00Always wonderful, cycling through a new metropolis! Even now I learn a lot of things; fun facts, interesting places, piece of culture and history, and I met 2 nice people again, Toni and Wey! They made sure we got through this metropolis safely: wearing vests and keeping the road clear if you want to cross with a group of 9 cyclists... They shared us in their enthusiasm for their city, KL.

5.00The best cycle tour I've ever joined! Our guide Afiqah was the best! She showed and told us so much about Kuala lumpur. , History, religions, food and fruit, background stories, architecture etc etc I highly recommend this tour to understand Kuala Lumpur. A must do! We also had fruittasting and a tasty lunch.

5.00Tip for when you first arrive in Kuala Lumpur. Super to get to know the city a bit. Enjoy cycling and hear fun facts from the guides. We had Afika and Ping, super nice guides who have a lot to say, pay close attention to the group and are also funny 😃. We enjoyed it very much.
A funny & informative cruise around KL

5.00We took a tour of central KL with MikesBikes. Right from the start the staff were friendly and welcoming. The guide, Wye, was funny, friendly and informative, with a great knowledge of the history of KL, and an excellent understanding of the cultural mix of Malay, Indian, and Chinese peoples. She was always ensuring that the group was safe and included. Lots of tips for extra places to come back to after the tour. A great visit to the markets, with an introduction to many unusual tropical fruits, and some really excellent other food stops too.
Our guide Selle has a lot of knowledge of the different places in the city and has shown many sights.

5.00We really enjoyed our bicycle ride around KL today and felt in safe hands with Barry and Sin, our experienced guides. It was great to see areas of the City that we wouldn’t have otherwise visited and learn all about them. We also tried some different fruit and enjoyed a lovely brunch. We would recommend this tour. A fun but challenging experience

4.00The tour showed us parts of Kuala Lumpur we would never have seen on our own. We learned history of the city and how the cultures all meld in this place. However, biking in KL is not for the faint of heart. There is a LOT of traffic, and while the drivers are extremely polite, there are few dedicated bike lanes and weaving between cars is often required to keep together. The city lacks a biking culture so far… we saw very few cyclists. But what we were able to cover in 4 hours of cycling was well worth the trip. Ping was a knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed his humor.
