Mother Teresa Cathedral

The Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa is a Roman Catholic cathedral and one of Pristina's tallest structures. It is dedicated to Saint Teresa of Calcutta, an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary, and the building design was authorized by the Government of Kosovo in 2007, however the cathedral was finally consecrated seven years later on September 5, 2017, 20 years after Mother Teresa's death. In Kosovo, the Cathedral hosts some of the largest Christmas masses, and local Muslims join their fellow Catholic residents in solidarity as part of the congregation and to enjoy the holiday season.

Newborn Monument

The Newborn Monument (NEWBORN) in Pristina is a typographic sculpture and tourist attraction. It's in front of the Palace of Youth and Sports, and it was unveiled on February 17, 2008, the day Kosovo legally proclaimed independence from Serbia. It was declared at the monument's installation that it will be painted differently each year on the anniversary of Kosovo's independence movement day.

Turkesh was an excellent tour guide. He went above and beyond to also make sure I could reach back at the airport for my flight. Highly recommend !

Armis was fantastic! He tailored the trek around town a little more to how we were feeling and his story-telling made us fall in love with the city and it’s people. We can’t wait to come back and we definitely hope we see Armis again.
