This luxury, private multi-day tour has been created with the starting and ending point each day from your chosen Killarney hotel. 5.00We booked Gerard for a two day tour from Galway to Killarney. He is a phenomenal guide. Knows every inch of the Ring of Kerry, is a great story teller, and is very in-tune with his guest's interests and energy levels (super important when traveling with kids). Also has a great van. I was also very interested in doing some genealogy and Gerard worked with me both before and after our trip. Long story short, with his help I was able to apply and obtain Irish citizenship.

5.00Gerard Scott was an awesome tour guide. He was very familiar with The Killarney area. We spent 2 full days visiting lots of very special and scenic spots in and around The Ring of Kerry and beyond. I highly recommend Gerard for anyone interested in seeing and learning about this beautiful country.

5.00Our tour days with Gerard made our trip to Ireland unforgettable. We did “tree” days in total. 😂 The third day was the Cliffs of Moher and The Barren. Gerard worked to accommodate our interests. His storytelling, knowledge, and music is second to none! Thank you Gerard for sharing your beautiful homeland with us. You will be forever in our hearts.

5.00First, our guide was very personable and such an expert on the area. Felt like we saw hidden gems of the area. He gave us options based on our interests. In the end, felt like my friends and I were touring around with a friend we have known for years.

5.00Hi Gerard, We have been more than pleased! Sean was the best and put up with us from beginning to end, which is a lot! We all cannot say how much we appreciated his help and he never said no. As you know, we had luggage issues (not me, how did I get so lucky!!) so that brought needs to be worked through and he was so accommodating. Please know that I am a small business owner and know that when the time comes, and it will, that you and yours will be first on the list when it comes to recommending private guiding. You saved us when we arrived in Dublin with no place to go to the point of Sean getting us on the train in Mallow. I had no clue about what the heck I had gotten us into there! We are still recalling the laughs and stories that Sean had to listen to for 3 days and that we all so very much enjoyed recalling about our lives and our travels together. Just know that your helpfulness in a time of crises and Sean coming to our rescue will be part of our stories that we will tell for years to come. 5.00By far the highlight of our 10 day Ireland trip! If you are lucky enough to be able to get on Gerard Scott’s schedule, book immediately! Gerard took us on a two day tour of the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. They were one of the most beautiful, magical places I’ve ever seen. He took us to off the beaten path places that only a local would know about, sharing his witty stories, music, and historical knowledge. He even gave us lessons in speaking the Gaelic language. Seeing these places through his perspective was so fun and special. Both Gerard and Ireland now hold a special place in our hearts. I will be back and hopefully I’ll be lucky enough to hire Gerard again.

5.00We hired Gerard for two days of private tours and we were delighted with the experience. When I was planning, he was quick and clear in his replies. On the tours, he was flexible and open to our suggestions. My partner had read many books centered around the Dingle Peninsula and had built quite a wish list of sights. Gerard followed through graciously and added several must-sees along the way. We experienced both vehicles because one day there were two of us and the second day we needed the van since we included four family members. Clearly Gerard loves children. He was really good with our grandchildren. Regardless, both vehicles were perfectly safe and clean. We were taken through Killarney National Park at the end of one tour. We would have missed it if left to our own devices. That would have been a huge mistake. Also, Gerard recommended Killarney House which we would have overlooked. It's a must see and would be fun for children as well as adults. His advice was spot on. We walked from our lodging in Killarney; it wasn't a tour stop. But it's free and wonderful. This was a holiday gift to my partner so I asked if they were pleased. The answer was that their expectations were exceeded! I highly recommend Gerard Scott for private tours by car and van.
