Imagine yourself kayaking in the crystal blue waters surrounding the Most Easterly Point of Australia spotting dolphins, humpback whales (from May to Oct) and turtles. This kayak trip is suitable for most levels of fitness, is easy and it lots of fun!
We embark on our ocean sea kayak tour from Clarke's Beach in Byron Bay paddling across the Bay towards Cape Byron. At Wategos Beach , situated just under the historic Cape Byron Lighthouse there is a residential pod of Pacific Bottle-nose Dolphins. We enter their habitat and usually have the privilege of seeing these beautiful marine mammals free from captivity in their own environment.

The staff was super friendly and made the experience unique. Don’t need athletic skills. Make sure to take your bikini on with you, he prepared to get wet and salty! Would recommend it the experience.

Kayaking with whales! What’s not to love about that!? Large group, so not much personal interaction, just follow the leader, do what you’re told kinda vibe. Well organized, well equipped.

We booked this as per description...dolphin watching kayak tour. What we did not expect, was seeing whales...so many whales, and so close. This was unexpected, and turn out to be the most remarkable experience we have done with my wife. Incredible.

I had an amazing time. Our group were incredibly lucky and saw lots of dolphins on the trip without having to paddle too far out. The team were very insightful and provided lots of information about the wildlife. The kayaking was fun too.

Great trip. Nice guides. Perfect weather and we saw whales, dolphins and turtle. We even had a whale with a baby circling our group very close to us.
