Learn the intricacies of the preparation of Indian food & some of India’s best known dishes by taking part in a fun class

The cooking class would include 3 main dishes (1 chicken & 2 vegetarian) and 2 Flat Breads.

A Culinary Experience suited for the Culinary enthusiast. Delectable Indian cuisine to Learn, Relish & Cherish for life.

This experience combines hands on learning Indian cuisine followed by indulging the tummy and heart with the delicacies cooked.

Our Experiences are recommended for anyone with an interest in the Culinary technique of Indian food & who wants to gain a richer awareness of Indian life & culture. And, of course, to anyone who enjoys excellent food!

All Experiences are hands-on participation! Please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements/preferences.

Our family of three had a wonderful experience with our Saffron Palate cooking class. First of all, Neha's home kitchen studio setup provided the space and burners for each of us to fully participate, whether chopping, sauteing, or cooking Roti/Chapati in a cozy, homey atmosphere. Second, Neha is a wonderful cooking instructor, starting the class by getting to know us and sharing her story, which we were eager to learn more about during our 1st trip to India. Neha was well organized with the menu planning and ingredient prep, as we needed to stay on task, learning to cook three main dishes (Chana Masala, Vegetable Biryani, Butter Chicken, Lachha Parantha, and Roti). After cooking, we then enjoyed the flavorful dishes in a beautiful dining setting. The cooking class definitely was one of our highlights during our India vacation. I would highly recommend.

Naha was so generous in welcoming us into her house. The cooking she showed us was excellently explained and easy to follow - and tasted absolutely delicious when we sat down with it later on. Would thoroughly recommend the course, and we are very much looking forward to trying out the recipes at home

We were given such a gift by taking this class with Neha. She is an incredible woman, a kind, caring, and generous person, welcoming us into her home, teaching us about Indian spices and recipe preparation. The best meal we have had in Delhi was prepared by us with Neha’s amazing teaching! If you are trying to decide whether to take the class, do NOT hesitate! Embrace the culinary adventure!

Just did an amazing cooking class this week at Saffron Palate! Neha was incredible - we learned so much from her and left thinking that the complexity of Indian cooking was totally something we were capable of recreating at home. The class was fun and the meal was delicious. Hands down, one of the best experiences of our two-week trip. Pro-tip - wait to do your spice shopping until *after* doing your class with her. :-)

I enjoyed this cooking course so much. From the location, to the amazing host Neha, to the food we cooked. Neha expertly talked us through cooking the meals and the breads and she made it all seem so effortless.

I had the best time with Neha. Her place is wonderful. She was very good at teaching how to cook Indian food. I was able to tell her what I wanted to learn and ask all the question I had about the food. We had a very great time. Food was delicious. At the end, I received a recipe booklet with many great recipes. It was very much beyond my expectations.
