  We had the intrepid boat crew and they did an awesome job making sure we had a great time. This Excursion maximizes your time spent snorkling which we really enjoyed. We saw lots of fish, coral, starfish and rays. Would recommend people to book with this Excursion.

  The perfect snorkel experience. Alex, Alberto, Alejandro put on a great experience with 3 snorkel sites with sea turtles, sharks, star fish and more. Then end the day with ceviche, pico de gallo and a cerveza. Such a lovely tour with the best tour guides.

  Booked through Viator. Fun boat tour that takes you to 3 snorkel spots and the 4th area is amazing where they give you some drinks, snacks(Guac, chips, ceviche) and you can be in the water with lots of sting rays swimming around. Beautiful spot! Tour showed us 2 turtles, skate, ray, lots of fish, stars, conch, and flying fish. Only disappointment was that it wasn't 4 hours. Boat picked up at the harbor 2:30 (left at 2:50ish) arrived back at 5:30ish. The tour guide was excellent - I forget the names of the staff. Communicative staff during the booking and rescheduling (weather required reschedule) But pay attention to your emails and whatsApp because that's their primary - I didn't receive phone calls. 2 ppl $154, plus harbor tax of $10 each paid on the boat for some reason. Wish that was better handled in the booking process. Had to pay cash on the boat in order to avoid a higher cost using their credit card machine, so I didn't have money for a tip. Bummer for the hosts. Then the photographer last minute before drop off asked if we wanted our pictures for "$40" and I thought we'd get all of the trip photo's he was taking. Just got the 7 pictures he took of me and my spouse, and the credit card charge came through as $54. Too late now. Maybe language barrier, maybe too much rushing to get it done before disembarking, but could've been smoother unfortunately. Glad to have them, but not worth $54

  The Poseidon catamaran crew was incredible. The guides made it easy to follow them and the atmosphere was great. The snorkeling was mediocre but the food, drinks, party, and safety culture made up for that. Highly recommend.

  The crew on the Intrepid were great - down to earth safety and information instructions. We saw turtles, sting ray and lots of fish. Fast boat for minimising travel time. Pictures were good, but too expensive to purchase.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our snorkeling adventure - Monchito the tour guide is very amazing and definitely worth the experience to anyone like me who loves to snorkel in Cozumel. we went to the snorkeling experience during our 2 week MSC World America cruise. Even though we were early arriving in the boat. Monchito is great and they showed a fantastic tour of sea turtles, starfish, fish and more. I look forward to pictures taken by the crew. thanks Monchito for the excellent snorkeling experience

  If I could give a negative star rating, I would. 1. The time snorkling in the water is limited. 30-45 minutes maximum. The 4 hours is mostly spent getting there and back, and standing on a sandbar in knee-deep water. 2. The crew pressures you for tips and good reviews after passing around a tequila bottle to make sure the tourists are nice and drunk. 3. My wife had an serious personal/medical issue on the boat, and her needs were dismissed. The capitan called her a "llorona" (crier), not knowing that I speak fluent Spanish.

  From the beginning the tour felt rushed and slightly unorganized. We only had about ten minutes with the sea turtles and starfish before rushing us off to the next location. The main tour guide was good and interactive but the captain felt as if we just in his way. He was disrespectful when my girlfriend asked to get back in the boat because she wasn’t feeling well. On a positive note he did drive the boat like a bat outta hell, which we all enjoyed.

  In the beginning we were approximately 45 minutes waiting for the company to organize us in different groups / excursions. Already on the boat we were told to keep any kind of personal belongings that we did not want to lose on the excursion. They asked us if we all spoke English, to which we answered no and said that out of respect for their language they would speak in both languages, although after the first explanations they forgot and were only interested in speaking English for their English-speaking audience. The boat was at full speed, with good music and good driving. We did not receive from the guide explanations of the environments we traveled or the species seen. We were told that the snorkeling time at each station would be 10/15 minutes. Basically the time they need to take individual and couple/family photos to advertise. An important point is that to get those photos they fed the fish, altering their diets, making them dependent on humans and generating "fights" with each other to get food not obtained naturally. After the pictures were taken, we were taken into the boat and the same thing was repeated at the other two stops, although the last one was shorter. The places are beautiful and we could see many fish and stars. We stopped at a beautiful beach where all the boats did the same thing: lower a board with food and drink to eat at sea where we saw several manta rays. After the snorkeling and with a full belly we climbed back, we went very fast until they stopped at a dream place where they let us take out our cell phones, they shared us a QR to have internet and another to make at that precise moment an assessment of the excursion (excellent strategy have thought to achieve the score they have). They also let us take out the wallets at that time to show us and offer us the beautiful and very expensive photos they took. After that we came back at full speed (yes, even faster) as if they had finished a formality and wanted to dispatch us, without first of course asking us for a tip. It struck me that it was dangerous to take our belongings to the first leg with us but not to return (when we caught more speed still) and where we were not given time to stand and put things back as they started. It makes me think it's his strategy to not be able to take pictures on his own. I tell everything, the good and the not so good, do not be fooled by a high score.
