  Our guide, Danny, led us on a fantastic and interesting evening walking tour of the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. I’ve been on many tours over the years, and Danny is easily one of the most engaging and insightful guides ever. This experience was a delight!

  Niki did a great job in guiding us safely through the streets of Shinjuku and Kabukicho. It was very interesting and informative and her knowledge is exceptional. Had a good time on this tour and wished to have had it at the beginning of my Japan holiday. Thanks again for the tour and recommendation Niki.

  Paulina our guide was so much fun. This was our first day in Tokyo and what a fantastic, chilled, introduction to this city. Paulina just seemed to know what we wanted instinctively. Fab!!!

  We definitely had a lot of fun and learned quite a bit about lesser known Shinjuku facts. Daniel was very knowledgeable and engaging. We would 100% recommend his tours.

  Loc’s walking tour through Shinjuku’s Kabukicho was one of the most fascinating and eye-opening experiences we had in Tokyo. Instead of the typical tourist perspective, he took us deep into the “darker side” of the district, unpacking the history, culture, and realities behind an area that’s often misunderstood. What made the tour stand out was Loc’s ability to explain complex and sensitive topics in a balanced, non-sensational way. He didn’t just focus on shock value, he provided real context around nightlife, host clubs, organized crime, and the social dynamics that shape Kabukicho today. It felt informative rather than voyeuristic, which we really appreciated. Loc was also incredibly engaging and approachable, encouraging questions and sharing stories that made the area feel more human and nuanced than we expected. Walking through Kabukicho with him gave us a completely different perspective than we would have gotten exploring on our own. If you’re curious about a side of Tokyo that most visitors only scratch the surface of, this tour with Loc is absolutely worth it.

  Paulina was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts as well as answered all of our questions. This tour is great if you want to learn about a side of Japan not many people talk about. We were not only shown great places to eat and drink, but we were also briefly taught how to notice and avoid tourist scams which helped us during our trip. When the tour ended, Paulina left us with restaurant recommendations and made sure we left problem free to our next destination. I 100% recommend this experience and would recommend that you plan this in the beginning of your Tokyo trip to help acclimate to the night life atmosphere.

  Paulina was a great, experienced guide with some great humor. She took us to all of the little spots in the area that would’ve been difficult to see efficiently on our own. Recommend!
