More than a fun attraction, The Florida Aquarium is a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to their shared purpose of saving marine wildlife. Admission sales help educate visiting students, provide world-class care to our animals, rehabilitate rescued sea turtles, and advance scientific research to save Florida's Coral Reef. The Aquarium is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums for maintaining high standards in animal welfare, veterinary care, conservation, and education, among other requirements. Parking options include a City of Tampa lot located 1 block north of The Florida Aquarium on Channelside Drive. Additional parking lots and garages are within walking distance of the Aquarium.
Please note: your ticket is active for up to 48 hours after your originally purchased date and time of visit as long as your original ticket is valid (has not been used and Aquarium barcode has not been scanned).

5.00The displays were so colorful and had plenty of information posted next to them. You could spend a couple of hours if you wanted. They had helpful docents to answer any questions and give brief talks about some of the big displays.

5.00This is a really nice aquarium. I only had a brief amount of time to spend between the end of a cruise and boarding my flight home, and wish I could have spent much longer. The exhibits were high-quality, and included several where you could “pet” the sea life. They will also store your luggage free of charge with your purchase of the aquarium ticket.

5.00Really fantastic aquarium, it was so interesting to walk inside and such a large amount of sea creatures and animals. We met a staff there showing snakes in her hands, that was the first time I touched a snake.
Amazing, we had our tickets on the app and getting in was super fasil.

4.00This is a great Aquarium. So many sections with so much to see! The last part was the best with the large aquarium and colorful sea creatures.
