Mary Queen of Scots led a dramatic, bloody life saturated in murder, deceit and treachery. Throughout her life Mary was repeatedly deceived by a group of immoral Scottish Nobles. So ruthless were their acts they even murdered her best friend David Rizzio, by stabbing him over 50 times as she watched helplessly. Towards the end of her life she sought refuge, trusting in her cousin Queen Elizabeth I. She was lured to her death, as Elizabeth coldly ordered her execution. Mary met her tragic end, beheaded by three gruesome strikes of a blunt axe. The brutality of Mary’s life gave rise to a vengeful spirit. Following countless unexplained deaths, authorities closed Sandyford Castle and erased its existence from history. The haunted castle has lay derelict and abandoned for centuries. You are part of a group of spiritual mediums who are determined to uncover the secrets of Mary’s life. You have ignored all warnings and remain resolute in your determination to lay her malefic ghost to rest. Will you succeed, or will you become another victim of the castle?

We’ve done a few escape rooms in Glasgow and this is definitely one of the better ones. The puzzles were challenging but solvable and we had a great time. Our game master Amber was fantastic and did a great job of knowing when we might need a little help. Her clues were helpful but didn’t take away the fun of solving whatever we were working on. We’ll be back to try the other rooms.

Fanastically fun beginning to our team Christmas night out with The Ghost of Mary Queen of Scots.. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. Edi could not have been a better Game Master. If you are wondering about going, GO! Special thanks to the team for opening for us on a Tuesday.

We had a great time, a really fun room and Xian was so welcoming and helpful. The puzzles were difficult to be interesting, but never did it feel frustrating.

I recently visited the Ghost of Mary Queen of Scots escape room at Eeek Escape Rooms and had an absolute blast! I went with a friend and we were completely drawn into the spooky atmosphere, just creepy enough to give us chills, which we loved. The puzzles were clever, and any time we needed a little nudge, help was given quickly and kindly. Our host, Aimee, was truly fantastic; friendly, enthusiastic, and incredibly good at setting the mood for the experience. Her energy and guidance made the escape room experience even better and safer. Definitely a 5 out of 5 experience!

Had such a great time at eeek! Escape Rooms in Glasgow for our work social! 🕵️‍♀️🔐 The puzzles were super fun and clever, the rooms looked amazing, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. It was such a good mix of challenge and laughs — perfect for a team night out or something different to do with friends. We’ll definitely be back to try the other rooms! 🙌✨

Absolutely brilliant escape room- some really clever details and satisfying puzzles to complete. Will definitely come back to try the other games! We’ve done a lot of escape rooms, and this might just be my favourite!

Amazing staff, Amazing place! Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Out host was Eliska she was lovely and when we needed it (a lot) she would come over speaker and give us little clues. Will definitely be back to do Magicians heist. 100% recommend!

Loved the Magicians Heist so much we came back to do The Ghost of Mary Queen of Scots. This was even better than the last one and we loved that one too. Big shout out to Joseph who helped make the experience even better!

We did Mary's Ghost escape room! We had a great time! Edi, our gamemaster, was incredible and helped us solve some complex puzzles. We got out just in time! We'd definitely recommend it!
