This was the most wonderful excursion. Blasket Islands are so beautiful. Sean and Bill were the best, so delightful and informative. Incredible to experience the dolphins right next to our boat. Would absolutely do this again and highly recommend this excursion over some of the others offered by other companies. 10/10!

Would absolutely recommend this day to anyone and would go again if we ever make it back to Dingle. This was something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time and the day could not have been better. Sean and Chris were fantastic and so knowledgeable. We had a blast on the water and saw dolphins and many gorgeous birds. The time on the island was fantastic as well. We hiked the loop and then spent an hour watching the seals on the beach after lunch. A peaceful and gorgeous experience. Time very well spent.

The Island itself was exactly what I hoped for. The highlight had to be eating a packed lunch with the best view in the world. Seals playing and nuzzling on the beach (even a few newborn pups), with Begninish island and the most westerly point of Ireland in front of you. Stunning! On a walk round the Island we spotted Risso's dolphins from the path, along with different birds and rabbits. Its a magical spot. And as a latecomer to Peig and the history of the Island, this place is a must see. Sean was our boat Pilot and Rachel our Marine Biologist, along with a little assistance on the way back from Toby the dog! The best seadog I've ever seen. They oozed knowledge on the island and the area; marine biology, world history, local history, amazing geology and lots of funny stories about local families and incidents along the way. Sean must have told those stories a hundred times, but it felt like he was telling it for the first time just for us. The seas were pretty rough that day, but Sean tried his best to find us some sea life on the way back. Lots of dolphins, including what Rachel told us was a newborn common dolphin, perhaps born that day. So small yet perfectly formed. Unforgettable. I would highly recommend this trip. Due to storms our first booking was cancelled (understandably so), but Alice was so good at keeping in touch and offering us alternatives. She was super helpful. Everyone we encountered left us with the impression that they want you to have a great experience. They care about it. It shows. We will be back. Maybe for longer next time.

Our two guides were wonderfully informed, friendly, and enthusiastically shared their interest and curiosity about the wonders that we were seeing. The geology, the wildlife, the culture and history of Blasket Island made for a rich and fascinating experience. The boat is not a luxury tour boat, but is great and provides a wonderful sense of connection to the sea which was particularly valuable when following a pod of porpoises. The crew was great at tracking their movement and giving us dramatic views and respectful proximity. The time we spent hiking on the island was enriched by the crew's stories and commentary about its history. A great day trip that we'd highly recommend to anyone!

The boat captain and guide were really nice, but it was a shame because the boat only allows 6 people on the outside deck at once - so half of the 12 passengers have to stay in the cabin at any one time. Of course on a rainy cold day, the inside cabin would be nice, but it was a sunny morning and we would have preferred to be outside the whole time. If I was going again I'd choose a different boat.

This was an amazing experience. Chris and Sean took us to the island. Chris was unbelievably knowledgeable about the geology of the cliffs and shared so much information with us on the trip over. When we arrived at the island, Sean found us some gray seals swimming off of the beach (they are few and far between during this time of the year.). He idled the boat for a long while allowing us to observer and photograph the seals. We were dropped at the island where we walked the trail around the top of the island (as recommended by Chris) and saw AMAZING views! Do not miss out on this hike! We walked 3/4 around then sat down for a picnic lunch where we were visited by a couple of hares. Then down to the beach for a quick foot dip (water was too cold for us Floridians to swim.) On the boat trip back to the marine, Sean and Chris found us a minke whale and LOTS of dolphins. Sean idled the boat for a long while allowing us to observe the sea life and did not rush us back to the marine. This was a highlight of our trip and I highly recommend!

Brilliant experience with Rachel and the team. I’d wanted to get over to the island for years so booked last minute when I found myself in Dingle. Learned loads about the area and the island itself was beautiful. Everything ran on time and we even managed to catch sight of some seals and dolphins on the way back. Would really recommend for all ages. 5/5!

The waves can be big and make you feel like you’re on a roller coaster. But the pay off was so worth it! We saw grey seals, common dolphins and loads of sea birds. And the Balskets were gorgeous. Captain Sean and Rachel were delightful and full of stories and facts. Lots of biting midges on the island, so bring bug spray or borrow some from the cafe counter.
