Meetingpoint for the tour, (we do not enter the Museum) Our tour starts and ends at the Mauritshuis, an important historic landmark built for count Johan Maurits. It marks the Dutch Golden Century and its museum halls can be visited after the tour to see both the latest exhibitions and classical pieces from Rembrandt and Vermeer.

5.00We had a great tour with Maurits our guide who was very knowledgeable about the history but also had some local anecdotes with a great sense of humour, he looked after the group making sure everyone was ok and keeping up. The weather wasn't great but he had some spare umbrellas just in case. And there were many opportunities to take pictures! Make sure you have cash ready in case you want to tip, which the guide does not ask for or expect, but you will probably want to!

3.00Our guide was a Hague resident, but not a historian. He shared some interesting information but I think it could have been much better. He was not what I expected, certainly not rude , but not overly knowledgeable, not a professional.

5.00I had an excellent time walking and discovering the city of The Hague. Whether through anecdotes or the history of the city. It was really very interesting, and our guide Taco was excellent. I highly recommend taking this tour.
