Join us on a thrilling Hanoi scooter tour, where you’ll ride pillion with an experienced local driver and explore the city in the most authentic way possible — just like a true Hanoian. This isn’t just a ride; it’s an immersive adventure through the capital’s famous landmarks and hidden local gems you won’t find in the guidebooks.
From the narrow alleyways of the Old Quarter to serene lakeside roads and vibrant local markets, our Hanoi motorbike tours offer a unique perspective of the city — full of stories, culture, and local flavor. It’s more than sightseeing — it’s about connecting with the real Hanoi.

I loved the day hanging out with a local who could tell me all about modern (and historic) Hanoi. We started off with a local coffee (delicious), then had a fresh coconut south of ‘banana island’ (a part of Hanoi I’d never go as a tourist). After looking at various things (art work bridge, a shot down B52 bomber) and the thrill of riding around seeing different parts (a graveyard) on a scooter we had lunch (so yummy). We finished with a tea ceremony which was both fascinating and relaxing. What a great way to round off the day. The one thing I would say is take money for tipping. I worked on the basis of just tipping Sonny at the end of the day as it’s easier, but I think I was supposed to tip along the way? From a customer view because we don’t know what things cost, I think it’s best to charge more and say the price will include all meals and you’ll tip staff 15% (for example) so I (or others) don’t feel bad if we don’t tip properly.

We had a great day. It was a bit scary at first on the bikes in the traffic but our drivers soon put us at ease so we could relax and enjoy. Brian is very knowledgeable so it was very interesting, and we went to places we would not have known to go on our own. It was a great mix of history, good food and fun. Highly recommend!!

Brian was unbelievable. It’s so hard to find a guide who is both alert and aware. We travel a lot and are very picky travelers. We also have two children, so keeping us all pleased and interested is not always easy, but he was simply incredible. The coffee shop he took us to had the best coffee I have ever had in my life. The motorbike tour was just spectacular and allowed us to see Hanoi in one day. His knowledge of history, food, and everything in between is just incredible. Brian has traveled to over 100 countries, which shows his passion for exploring the world. I wish there were more guides like him, he truly made our trip unforgettable! We all wished we could kidnap him and take him with us for the rest of our trip in Vietnam.

Omg what a way to start our first morning in Hanoi! Our guides Nick and ? Sunei were amazing. Hoping on the scooter with them was an adventure we’d do again in a heartbeat. So much fun and lots to see with explanations along the way weaving in and out of the traffic. We felt totally safe and our guides were very competent drivers! First stop was for a Vietnamese coffee at Lam Cafe! And we were off for an exciting tour of Old Quarter with multiple stops at St Joseph Cathedral, Mural street, Long Bien Bridge, John Sidney McCain Memorial and many more stops. There were plenty of opportunities for pictures and the history we were given was very interesting. The food stops were very authentic and delicious! Also Nick is a great photographer! Thank you both so much. We enjoyed our day with both guides. Many laughs and lots of information. Thank you both!

From start to finish this tour was worth every penny. Nick and his partner were absolutely kind and respectful. Nick was very knowledgeable about many historical facts regarding Hanoi and Vietnamese culture . Nick and his partner listened to our questions and our needs through out the tour. The places we went we could have never seen on our own. The historical landmarks came with stories and references . We learned , we laughed , we took pictures , we experienced true Vietnamese culture . We highly recommend Nick and his partner. The scooters were very safe and super fun.

We did this on our first day in Hanoi to help us get a better understanding of local areas and take in some history. Our tour guides were excellent and there really is no better way to see the city than on the back of a scooter! Great choice of venues, amazing lunch and a lot of fun. Highly recommended this tour for anyone visiting Hanoi.

This day was a highlight of my trip to Vietnam. Being on the back of a scooter is so much fun and gives a different perspective, we all felt really safe with our drivers. We got to see a lot of different parts of Hanoi we wouldn't have found on our own and loved the Long Bien Bridge in particular and the tea ceremony was a nice, calming way to end the day. We had a fantastic lunch, I am still craving that banana flower salad dish and hope to find it in Australia. The amount of time allocated to each stop was perfect. There were five of us in our family group, so we felt like it was a personal tour. I believe they will run it for 2 people or more but even if a solo traveler, I would get in touch as Brian and the team were very accommodating. They arranged our airport transfers at a good price last minute. I recommended this tour to some people I met at our hotel, they did it the next day and also loved it.

My family of 5 did this tour and I can safely say it's the best one I've ever done. The communication from Brian and his guides was second to none and the tour itself was so much fun. We saw things that we wouldn't have seen on our own and the scooter rides were great and we all felt perfectly safe with our very competent drivers. We got really good information about the sights we saw but it wasn't an overload so special points for there. We finished at a beautiful tea house which was very calming and a perfect way to end the tour. We did 2 tours in Hanoi with A taste of Hanoi and I would highly recommend making this your first stop before booking anything. The whole experience was 5 stars.
