Immerse yourself in a sacred Maya Cacao Ceremony beneath the ancient Ceiba Tree bridging earth, sky, and the shadowed depths of Xibalba. This January experience centers on the tukur—the owl—as your guiding nahual spirit animal, messenger of transformation, wisdom from darkness, foresight, and rebirth. The evening unfolds as a ceremonial journey honoring Maya mythology and the living wisdom of cacao—the sacred blood of the earth, drink of gods and ancestors. Live performers, tribal drummers, and soft warrior chants create a pulsing heartbeat of the jungle and underworld, while scents of copal, frangipani, roasted maize, and ceremonial cacao envelop you. The ceremony arc begins with the tukur’s silent presence: ethereal owl dance, corn husk costume rituals, and whispered invocations drawing you into the darkness. Guests are guided by the tukur itself (voiced through the Shaman in deep, resonant owl-toned narration) to open the mirror of the soul, gaze upon their unmasked truth, set powerful intentions for healing and rebirth, and partake in the sacred cacao elixir. With each sip, illusions burn away, the heart speaks, and the tukur opens the hidden door to inner magic.

The team was so nice the performance was educational and fun. The food was perfect well seasoned. Bring your appetite. Make sure to drive your gold cart on the dock. The directions don't complete match so give yourself extra time

It is a fun experience and the food is very good. I loved all the performers. I would have enjoyed more dancing or something from the performance, but overall worth the price.

I was expecting for a more interactive performance, Instead of videos. The video was difficult to see from our table (table six). The video was faster than the food/drink being delivered. Would have been great to have had the last drink ahead of time so we could all meditate as we returned from the underworld as described in the video. Loved the message of the entire experience. Overall, we did enjoy the performance and the food.

I enjoyed the ambiance, however the experience was very average. I got lost in the storyline, and the food was not the best. The directions to the establishment was very unclear and caused my friends and I to be 10 minutes late, though we were exactly 3 minutes away....the beverages were good, however it did not come with the price of the excursion -- soft beverages should've been included (in my opinion) -- wasnt worth the $75

The “performance” was a documentary displayed on 4 split tv screens that lost internet connectivity several times throughout the night. The “dinner” was horrible and was a “try this snack if you dare” type of ordeal. Worst way to spend our last night in Belize. They should be paying us for the wasted time we can’t get back.

The food and staff were wonderful. I apologize, first for writing a bad review but when you travel so far and pay $90 per person, it was just a total waste of time and money. The AI video was terrible, and guy running it had to jump in multiple times, I do feel bad for writing this because of the staff and food, but it was not great.
