Jump with me into a time machine and travel 1200 years back in History. My name is Abdou Rahim. I was born and grew up in the historical car-free medina of Fes. I'm an MA holder and Professional Tour Guide (licensed by the Ministry of Tourism). I love to show tourists our historical sights and attractions, but most of all, l love to tell them why they are important, to relate relevant stories and events to these sights. I like to capture their attention and make them feel as though they are part of the story. l have met tourists from all parts of the world , which helped me discover and understand their cultures, traditions, and customs. It taught me how to deal with them with courtesy and respect. Your Fes tour with me will surely be FEScinating.

5.00Spectacular if you do it with Rahim Abdul (retired teacher who guides more for dedication than business). A temporary trip through the Medina from the 19th century (upper part) to the 9th century (lower part). Very interesting and very nice and familiar.Espev

5.00Rahim must be one of the best, if not the best, guides that I have met in all of my trips. I believe his being an ex-professor allowed him to create an environment of fun learning. He speaks very good English. He is definitely knowledgeable of Fes history (being a local) and delivers to us stories in a very interesting way. He took us to travel back in time at the Fes medina. He provided each one of us an audio which enabled us to understand and catch everything that he was saying -I hope all guides can also provide this very simple and yet practical gadget to guests. Rahim is the best!

5.00Excellent morning spent on this walking tour. We were all given an earpiece so we could clearly hear the guide. We went at a nice slow pace and saw lots of sights and learnt a lot about the history of the City and the culture. Highly recommended

5.00Perfect intro to Fes! We had a lovely morning with Rahim Abdou; he's super well informed, charming, and funny (without any of the usual terrible jokes). Learnt a lot about the history and architecture of the Medina as well as the social and cultural life of the city. One of the reasons we picked this tour is that he doesn't try and cram in rushed visits to all the sites on the tour, instead you get an introduction to some of the key sites, with information about them and you can then choose which ones to visit at your own pace without a big group. We wanted a specific dish for lunch after the tour and he kindly showed us to the street where we could get it. Great value tour. Many thanks, and highly recommended.

5.00amazing tour!!!! abdul was so knowledgeable and such a sweetheart, would defo recommending getting a tour with him !!! He took us all around the medina and told us what areas were particularly photo worthy and even showed us the tannery, where we had a beautiful view of the Unesco world heritage site: the leather making areas ᵕ̈
