5.00The sounds of music tour is well worth the time and money, and I would thoroughly recommend it, even if you aren’t a die hard fan of the film (but be prepared to be surrounded by them, and be prepared to sing!). Very knowledgeable tour guide and funny driver.

5.00Jose is a fabulous tour guide! He was funny, entertaining, and also made some very touching comments about life. It was fun learning the real story behind The Sound of Music. I loved hearing the music and singing along on the bus ride!

5.00This has been our favorite tour BY FAR in Salzburg! It’s a wonderful way to see the city, from a comfortable, smooth bus with air conditioning and HUGE windows. And if you’ve seen the movie, it’s pure delight! We had the most outstanding tour guide I’ve EVER had on a tour of any kind, Jose. He was absolutely awesome … full of heart, positive energy, charm and humor. Through the course of the four hour tour, you hop on and off the bus to take short walks to different filming sights that Jose explains and gives inside information on. While you’re on the bus, Jose weaved the true story of the von Trapp family in with how it became to be a movie and how the movie was filmed - he is also a gifted narrator. And then, the music began … and it became a hilarious, fun and even poignant sing a long. Such a memorable day, we loved every minute!

5.00This was a great tour! We had one day and Salzburg and my friend and I decided to book the tour despite not being the biggest Sound of Music fans and we’re so happy we did. It was a great way to see more of Salzburg and the surrounding area and learn more about the history/culture. Our guide, Mitch, was extremely knowledgeable and charming and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
