Discover St Maarten’s one-of-a-kind underwater sculpture park, Under SXM, with the people who know it best — the creators, builders, and owners of the park itself. This 2-hour adventure begins with a short scenic 10 minute boat ride from Great Bay to Little Bay, where over 300 sculptures transform the seafloor into a breathtaking gallery teeming with marine life.

Your expert guide will join you in the water, sharing insider stories about the design, build, and installation of the park, while also pointing out fascinating sea life along the way. Snorkel gear and safety floats are provided, and optional digital underwater photos can be purchased onboard to capture your memories.

With two tours daily at 10 am and 1 pm, Monday to Friday, and a meeting point just a 6-minute walk from the cruise ship terminal, this experience is designed to be easy, memorable, and stress-free. We guarantee you’ll always be back to your cruise ship or your sun lounger on time.

This is a great half-day outing to snorkel among the sunken statues. Derek and Tara were good hosts. We heard about the creation of the statues from conception to installation. The snorkelling was in warm water with clear views of the statues. The statues are about 5 meters (16 feet) deep so you can easily dive down to swim among them. Make sure you have an underwater camera or invest in the photo package. I really enjoyed this experience.

Ashley and Dereck made us a great welcome despite our delay and we knew how to guide us to their boat ... and despite the uncertain weather we knew how to make our day exceptional. The trip was fantastic! Derek and Ashley were very friendly and knowledgeable. Was an added bonus to have Derek out with us as he showed us where the good sights were. Sting ray hiding in the sand that I swam right over. He dove down and gently encouraged him to move allowing us to see it.

We made this tour to 3 adults and 1 child. Our guide was super friendly and everything went as described. The only downside was the fact that we had poor visibility of the sculptures due to the churning sea, but the provider can't help it. On the contrary, the guide made an effort and was in the water with us to show us things / animals. Sufficient material and swimming aids were offered for bad swimmers. Everything great
10/10, no notes! So amazing!

The sculpture park was an amazing experience. We saw all sorts of tropical fish, a barracuda, sea turtle, stingray, puffer fish, star fish, octopus and had an incredible time. The guides were amazing and provided so much history of the island and the culture here. 10/10, no notes!

As an older person, I was concerned about getting on and off the boat. However, Derek and Ashley were awesome. The snorkeling was a fun adventure and I enjoyed looking at the statues. I would absolutely do it again.
