Discover St Maarten’s one-of-a-kind underwater sculpture park, Under SXM, with the people who know it best — the creators, builders, and owners of the park itself. This 2-hour adventure begins with a short scenic 10 minute boat ride from Great Bay to Little Bay, where over 300 sculptures transform the seafloor into a breathtaking gallery teeming with marine life.
Your expert guide will join you in the water, sharing insider stories about the design, build, and installation of the park, while also pointing out fascinating sea life along the way. Snorkel gear and safety floats are provided, and optional digital underwater photos can be purchased onboard to capture your memories.
With three tours daily at 9am, 11.30am & 2.30pm and a meeting point just a 10-15 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal, this experience is designed to be easy, memorable, and stress-free. We guarantee you’ll always be back to your cruise ship or your sun lounger on time.

3.00It was difficult to see the sculptures. Only saw a few fish. The boat was very difficult to get off with snorkel gear on, we had to jump off the ship. Also getting back on the boat the steps were very narrow, extremely difficult climbing and getting back in. The boat ride was fun.

5.00The tour guides were great and informative. It was windy the day we went so it was a little cloudy under the water to see the sculptures but overall a great experience. Would recommend and definitely do it again

3.00The crew was very knowledgeable, the boat was great, but unfortunately the water was so murky we didn't really see any of the sculptures. The cruise ship we were on cancelled their trip because of this but this tour operator did not, so a bit unfortunate for us. I'm sure they knew the conditions if our ship did. Hope others get a better experience!

4.00I enjoyed this snorkel adventure. The water was a little merky, but if you could dive down the statues were clearer. I purchased the photo package, however have not received it two weeks later. Have tried emailing, but no reply. Was told photos would be emailed to me within two days. A little disappointing.

5.00We really enjoyed the short trip. As per description short boat trip. Since we left at 9am we were lucky and there were only four of us. The underwater figures were very impressive and we saw a lot of fish. On the way out, we received informative remarks on SMX.

3.00Any project to supprt marine life can only be a good thing. On the day we visited it was a little windy but this was enough to reduce visibility by about 80%. I would only recommend if weather is very calm and no wind. To add the the problem after about 15 minutes several catermarans arrived and made the site very busy...
