As I have been living in Taormina since over 30 years I will be able to show you also the hidden corners, out of the common paths. . . This lovely spot was resort of many writers, artists, movie stars and personalities in the past and it is still nowadays.
We will take a nice walk through the Corso Umberto, the popular shopping road, and visit the most famous monument of Sicily, the Greek-Roman theatre.
You will discover the best part of this little town in the narrow little streets, its beautiful public garden, the panoramic squares and you will be told about the incredible stories which made this place so unique. . .

5.00Geri (our guide), also known as the Prince of Taormina, was the BEST. Loved him. He gave us the best tour, tips, humor, and stories. He went the extra mile to make sure we understood the culture and history and gave us an 11/10 experience. He’s also a great photographer! Would 100% do this again or recommend :)

5.00What an amazing Tour Guide Chiara Rozzo is, highly recommend! Friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. It was the best few hours in Taormina, learnt so much which I enjoyed as I love history and to learn about other cultures. Visited many interesting sights which I would otherwise have missed and ending in the Greek Theatre to finalise the whole tour, bellisimo! Thank you Chiara youve made my first visit to Taormina, Sicily very special!

5.00Wonderful introduction to Taormina. Chiara gave a us a marvellous guided tour of the key historical sites as well as an overview of the city's rich history. We learned a lot and it was the perfect way to begin our stay in this beautiful city. The highlight was her tour of the Greek Theatre. Thank you for a wonderful tour.

5.00We started the tour with a short history discussion from the terrace at our hotel, the Grand Hotel Timeo, which was a great way to set the tone for the day with sweeping views over the coast. The guide was most knowledgeable and helpful, making the history and stories of Taormina easy to follow and genuinely engaging. We then explored Teatro Antico di Taormina, where the ancient theatre and Mount Etna backdrop brought everything to life, followed by a stroll along Corso Umberto with its lively mix of shops and cafés. A stop at Piazza IX Aprile offered one of the best views in town, before finishing the walk looking out toward Isola Bella—a calm and beautiful ending to the day.

5.00We had a wonderful time doing a 2.5 hr private tour of Taormina with Chiara. She was insightful, full of knowledge and funny. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to avoid the commotion of a group tour - we were able to customize our tour and time and Chiara picked us up directly at our hotel. Thank you!

5.00What an experience! Our tour guide was Chiara! So much history was given on this tour. We started off on the smaller theater and she first explained the difference between the Greeks architect and then the roman architect and how you can tell the difference and I won’t tell you here you will have to take the tour yourself. The big theater was where it’s at! This massive Greek/roman theater with mt etna in the background and it was April so it still had snow on the top of it. So much interesting information was given on this theater and she was at a show just recently that 6500 people were at and she shows us videos on her phone of what it was like. She showed us lots of pictures and movies on her phone that helped explain what she was showing us which help make her case! Mt etna explodes all the time and skiers were skiing down it next to the lava Flo. Pretty awesome. She also showed us a picture of the theater in the 20’s and how much mt etna has grown. We also walked down the big shopping street and there was even more interesting information of the town and how they recycled everything or repurpose things. Take the tour and find out what I’m taking about lol. You will not regret this tour because of all the history Chiara gave us.

5.00Chiara is very engaging and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Sicily. She did an absolutely wonderful job keeping our boys (ages 12 and 15) engaged and thoroughly answered every question we asked. She is passionate about Sicily and the history of Sicily and Italy. She was wonderful and we highly recommend her!
