A foodie guide will lead you and a group of travellers on a culinary adventure through the Monti neighbourhood. And of course, in order to eat like the Romans, you’ll have to drink like them too. That’s why we’ll get tipsy with perfectly-paired drinks like local wine and cold, craft beer. Can you think of a better way to spend your holiday? Us neither!
You’ll begin the Italian way, with an aperitif and a spritz before indulging in Roman pizza and pasta dishes. Taste authentic pasta classics and sip on red wine from Lazio. No food tour is complete without a sweet treat, so you’ll get to try a traditional tiramisu that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Not many tourists know Monti, but if you want a local experience, there’s no better place to be. This is where the Romans go to try the best cuisine the city has to offer. You’ll head to trattorias where you’ll try an aperitif of Italian snacks and spritz and real, Roman pizza. Along the way you’ll learn about the tunnels hidden beneath its cobblestoned streets before grabbing a bite to eat. After savoury samplings you’ll enjoy a 2-course meal at a high end restaurant.

5.00This was such a fun tour and definitely one of my most favorite tours in Rome. Autumn was our guide for the food tour and had such amazing stories to tell. The food and wine pairings were absolutely amazing. We loved the tipsy food tour so much that we booked the night Tipsy Tour for that night while we were still on the food tour. We were lucky enough to have Autumn join us with another amazing tour guide - Serra. The Tipsy Tours are great because you get an opportunity to visit restaurants and bars that you would not even know to go to! The guides really make the tours a success though. Autumn and Serra were amazing and it definitely felt like we were hanging out with friends during the tours.
