We don't offer ordinary tours. Passionate local storytellers will use stories to make history come to life to give you a good insight into how life must have been in medieval Bruges.
There's no set route. All of the storytellers have their own personal highlights for you and will adapt those to the group. So the more questions and input you give them, the better your experience will get.

Most streets are made from coble stones. One little bridge with a few steps.
A maximum of 6 people per group are allowed to book to maintain a balanced mix of guests (solo travellers, couples, families and small groups). Making multiple bookings for larger groups is not allowed. Bigger groups can contact Ambassadors Tours directly to arrange a private tour. Groups larger than 6 people will be rejected on the spot without the right to receive a refund.

Walking tour confusion

1.00Unfortunately I didn’t get to go on the walking tour and wasted my money even booking this. When I went to the square I was asked my name a guy said my guide was over there like he checked my name off and then at 2:30 the guide asked my name again and said I was in the wrong group and he couldn’t take me because he had over 20 people. I will say the square was full of walking tours and people everywhere doing the same thing made it hectic and confusing. Then I was refused a refund of my booking fee. So for me it was a bad experience and I can’t say I would recommend.

5.00These tours all depend on who you get for a tour guide. We got lucky as Gosia was wonderful. She is FULL of energy and passion for the city of Bruges and gave us a great mix of history and contemporary stories/references. I highly recommend doing this tour on your first day in Bruges. It makes you appreciate the rich history of the town as you stroll through the beautiful streets!

5.00Our two-hour guided tour with Gosia was a fantastic experience and exactly what we’d hoped for. With her infectious charm and excellent humour, she won us over from the very first moment. The tour offers an exciting and informative overview of the city, without ever becoming dry or tedious. On the contrary: time flew by because Gosia knows how to convey the information in an incredibly lively and entertaining way. Anyone wishing to discover Bruges in a knowledgeable yet refreshing way should definitely not miss this tour. Highly recommended for every visitor!

5.00This was a very comprehensive walking tour of Bruges's central sights with Gosia, the Ambassadors Tour guide of the day. Her grace and good humor made it a real pleasure to walk around Bruges for a couple of hours on a sunny day. We stopped to sample a bite of chocolate and she pointed out several places I returned to later, including the Half Moon Tavern and the Basilica of the Holy Blood. This was the best way to start three days of walking around Bruges Centrum. Highly recommended.

5.00Truly is a great thing to do on your first day to get the basics and layout of the important places to return to. Our guide, Pascal, was informative, entertaining, and had great energy. He was very knowledgeable and brought the history of Bruges to life.

5.00Steve had a lot of Bruges history for us and he made it fun. He obviously loves his city. He had lots of suggestions for us and he tried to keep us warm as the weather was not great.

5.00We had a great time on our tour. Gosia our tour guide was so knowledgeable, was a great way to get our bearings to visit the surroundings. Gosia was so funny and interesting, made our tour so enjoyable.
