This is an excellent tour! Aidan is very knowledgeable and was part of the scene when Joe and the rest of The Clash, and other bands, got their start in Ladbroke Grove and surrounding area. You could feel the history as he brought you to each site and explained the significance. Loved it!

I did this tour yesterday and can highly recommend it. The guide ,Aidan, gave me all the info on meeting him and advice on the journey to Ladbroke Grove. The tour was brilliant and Aidan really went through everything, not only connected with Joe Strummer/ The Clash but also the area and its history, with knowledge and amusing anecdotes. I came away from the afternoon amazed at the amount of information he passed on . I would also point out he grew up in the area and has a lot of personal experiences. Want to spend a great few hours then this is the tour and his is the man .

Wow!! Aidan is an incredible tour guide. So thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and hilarious! If you want an insider perspective on punk history, he is your guy. He has lots of personal accounts that enhances the whole experience. Even the most studied clash scholars will surely leave with lots of new info! Fair warning- if you are the emotional type, you may find yourself overwhelmed by the end of the tour. It was extremely powerful standing in the steps of Joe Strummer! I would definitely recommend Strummer walk to not just fans, but anyone who is remotely curious about the history of london. Seriously a memorable, thought-provoking, honest and impeccable tribute to the notting hill legend. Thank you, Aidan!

Fantastic 2 hour walking tour of Joe Strummer’s old stomping grounds! No matter how well you know the Seventies London punk scene, you will walk away having learned something new, plus have a few myths busted as well. Aiden is a highly entertaining tour guide that thoroughly knows his subject matter, the city and the best pub in the area.

Aidan is a great host with first-hand experience of London during 1970's and thorough knowledge about the only band that matters.

We literally meet Adan 3 hours after our plane arrived, navigating the underground, checking into our hotel in Westbourne Park, showering and grabbing a cab to meet him. I have to say it was an amazing way to start our vacation in England. First of all, you get to meet and hang out with a real life Londoner plus you get to talk to and listen to stories about The Clash, what could be better? My girlfriend and I flew in from LA. At the end of our vacation after Stonehenge, the White Cliffs of Dover, high tea, we still both agreed on how important it was that we got a real slice of life from Adan and the Strummer walk tour. Adan is hilarious and pulls no punches. I learned so much about Joe, the Clash and what it was like in London during the 70's, 80's and 90's. It was so cool to see the actual locations of cover shots like from Black Market Clash, or the homes where Joe lived or the tower block were Mick grew up. Even more special were the real life venues and pubs where Joe and the 101ers played. Adan had some crazy stories and memories he all intertwines to make an awesome tapestry. His tour is a must for any Clash fan but even if you're just a novice he gives you such a great window into London especially the neighborhoods of Ladbroke Grove, Notting Hill and even our neighborhood where we stayed, Westbourne Park. I highly recommend this tour and the next time I'm in London I want to check out his Soho Punk tour! Thanks Adan!

A great tour led by fantastic guide. Aidan not only showd all the places relevant to the musical development of Joe Strummer but also explained the historical and socio-economic aspects of the era. Moreover, we heard a lot of his own experiences of living in the area and participating in the scene. Would recoment and come again!

Excellent tour with a great host who despite the pouring rain managed to keep us thoroughly engaged for well over two hours of tales of Strummer, the Clash as well as the music/social/political scene at the time. Good for both the keen to learn and die hard fans.

Still drying out from yesterdays strummer walk ! Aidan puts his heart and soul into this very enjoyable, comprehensive Clash tour of key locations. Dont forget to buy him a well earned pint of Guinness in Angies afterwards to help his voice recover ! 💯💥👌
