Curious about the Japanese national sport "sumo?" Don't miss your chance to meet and interact with real sumo wrestlers! Learn about the behind-the-scene stories and daily lives of sumo wrestlers.

For customers who book a meal option, enjoy a satisfying meal of "Tonkatsu" (Japanese-style Pork Cutlet) for Lunch, and Sukiyaki for dinner, and "Chanko Nabe" (Sumohouse-style hotpot soup), all made by the wrestlers. Take the rare opportunity and try wrestling with retired sumo wrestlers.

For vegetarians, the restaurant will offer vegetarian dishes at the restaurant’s discretion. The restaurant will offer substitute ingredients for those who can not eat pork at the restaurant’s discretion.

**For customers who book with a meal, please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies in the special notes when you make your reservation. We will not be able to respond to requests received less than 5 days before the event date.

Duration: 2 hours for meal plan, 1 hour for sumo demo only.

Sumo demo plans including meal are 1.5 hours.

You may be asked to share a table with another group. This is to ensure the maximum number of guests can enjoy the experience. For groups with a large number of people, it may not be possible to seat everyone at the same table.

This was such a fun experience! You get tonkatsu, soup and rice for lunch. Then afterwards two retired sumo wrestlers demonstrate what they do when they fight and even perform a small exhibition. Then anyone who wants gets a chance to fight the sumo wrestlers. And we all got to take photos with them. I’ve been to a few sumo experiences (including watching it at the arena) but this is my favorite so far, because of the intimate experience. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Food was good and there was a decent vegetarian option. The session was informative and good fun, with our host encouraging audience participation. Not a ‘serious’ sumo activity and lots of it seemed to cater for children or those who wanted to have fun. Nevertheless a fun way to spend a couple of hours and we got some good photos.

This was so much fun! The food was amazing, the information was valuable a different the sumo were entertaining and exhausting! You have to do this when you come to Toyko.
