If you feel like you can cover the Old Town by yourself, but you'd also love to see surroundings with a local guide, this is perfect! We'll take you through some of the main sights around the Old Town. We'll tell you stories, funny legends, show you some beautiful architecture and point out weird and charming things so you get to see our city from a different point of view!

Opened in 1930, at that time the most modern market in all Europe! Visit beautiful pavilions which used to be zeppelin airship hangars back in the days! Get to see what locals eat and drink, enjoy the buzzing atmosphere and taste some goods!
Kipsala
Drive through beautiful Kipsala island located in Daugava river, just opposite the Old Town. An area which used to be not that well presented just 30 years ago, now has one of the most expensive land in Riga - beautiful renovated wooden buildings, nice view over the Old Town and the port, stunning reconstructed gypsum factory and more...!

5.00We took the tour of Riga and were fascinated by Krista's way of showing and explaining this marvellous city with it's many facets and complex history. Krista makes her tours entertaining and informative at the same time and as a real Latvian she makes you fall in love with Latvia and Riga. So, highly recommended, we are planning another tour with her when the COVID-19 crisis is over...so if you consider travelling to Latvia, be sure to book with Amber Tours...you will not regret it!
