This tour includes lunch, combines our Boldt Castle Tour stopping at Heart Island for a tour of Millionaire George Boldt's Rhineland style castle, a cruise through Millionaires Row viewing magnificent summer homes of the rich and famous of the gilded age, and a stop at Rock Island Lighthouse to visit the "Keepers Cottage" Museum & Gift Shop and climb to the top of lighthouse to enjoy the spectacular view of the St. Lawrence Seaway. NO Passports required!

5.00We were on the first tour of the season and it was a gorgeous day! The narrator has lots of interesting information to share and the captain was friendly and fun as well. We've been on the larger tours but we'll return to Clayton Island Tours, they are wonderful!

5.00We did the Ultimate 1000 island tour. On this tour, we visited Boldt Castle and Rock Island with a picnic lunch for 5 hours. Kris was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and personable. I could tell she enjoyed her job. The boat had difficulty on our tour which made it run a bit over schedule, but the crew did their best to make sure we got everything that was promised. There can always be unexpected things, but when the crew does their best to rectify things, it makes a difference. The picnic lunch had a sandwich, chips, cookie and drink. It was okay. But the tour provided a wealth of information on all the islands and was very enjoyable. I would recommend them. Tickets to the castle and lighthouse were included but boat house was not. Both were enjoyable. There isn’t enough time to do the boathouse, but you can drive to it on your own.

5.00What a great experience- Brad and the skipper did a great job safely navigating the shoals of the river. Brad had excellent stories of the islands and inhabitants. We loved it!

5.00We came opening day and this was our first visit. It was great! Staff was friendly. Lunch provided was nice - you grab your bag of goodies and a drink before you board. You can eat it anywhere you want. We got lucky with the weather. Sailing was very smooth (I was expecting more waves on the river but I also wonder if part of that was the lack of boats out because it was so early in the season..). Boldt Castle is gorgeous and interesting. All the tourism is helping to pay for its restoration. It would be gorgeous if they’re able to accomplish it all! We could have been there longer. We didn’t realize how much there was to see. The lighthouse was on a tiny island and was fun to run around for a bit. The guide had story after story - he shared info the whole trip. Captain kindly spent time with a couple children. So many impressive mansions along the water. Just a perfect day.

5.00Smaller boat, but great tour guide and great atmosphere. We would have loved additional 30–60 minutes at Bolt Castle:) Overall, this was a great experience for a family of four with two young kids.

5.00We absolutely loved thousand islands,the light house and the Boldt castle. Our tour guide Liam was incredible! So much information shared in an entertaining manner. Our captain was fun too. The lunch was just right and fresh! Highly recommend!!

5.00The boat ride and tours ran nearly 5 hours. Basically a full afternoon and included a nice bag lunch. The tour guide on the boat was very informative and interesting during the period on the boat The self guided touring of Boldt Castle was exceptional and really required the 2+ hours we had to spend there. The park service staff on Rock Island really humanized the Rock Island Lighthouse history and very interesting and informative small group tour up into the top of the lighthouse.
