Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Walking (approximately 1.5 miles to and from the Fairy Pools) is involved, and some of this is on rough terrain
Seats will be assigned - groups/couples will be seated together
Unfortunately, due to the duration of the tour and time on the coach, this tour is not appropriate for children under the age of six
We would recommend wearing/bringing warm clothes, hiking boots and waterproof jackets

Loch Ness
As we leave Inverness behind, the Highlands’ most famous waters appear: Loch Ness. We’ll hug the shoreline while your guide brings the legend to life—tales of sightings, science, and a sprinkle of mischief—eyes peeled for her!
Eilean Donan Castle
Our first stop is at the iconic Eilean Donan Castle. This castle is instantly recognisable the world-over as it has featured in many films and innumerable Scottish souvenirs! We will stop at our favourite vantage point here to enable you to take some photos and admire the majestic beauty of this iconic sight in its wonderful coastal location. Please note that there will NOT be an opportunity to visit the castle.

5.00Fantastic tour. I was skeptical about 12 hours on a bus tour, but it was great. Our guide, Murdock (aka Mr. Fantastic) filled the drive time with a mix of folktales and history. He was a great storyteller and an attentive guide, making sure everyone had whatever they needed. (At one point he even got out to sort out an traffic snarl on Skye's narrow roads.) We had plenty of chances to get out and hike and explore parts of Skye. Also, the lunches (a separate charge) provided by a local business on Skye were delicious and more than enough to keep us going for the whole day.

5.00Murdock was a spectacular host to this amazing tour. 12 hours felt like a daunting amount of time for a tour but with all of his wonderful stories, time moved with ease. We got to see all the amazing spots and had plenty of time to take photos. This family owned tour company I would highly recommend taking.

5.00Wow! What a wonderful day! The Isle of Skye didn’t disappoint nor did our fantastic tour guide, Mr. Fabulous, Murdoch! He regarded us with stories and history of Scotland! It was a long day but I always looked forward to hearing the next part of the story!! He also did a couple extra things for our tour group, which we all appreciated so much! If you’re thinking of doing a tour to the Isle of Skye, choose WOW Scotland and ask for you Murdoch.of the Thompson Clan! You will not be disappointed!! Thank you!!

5.00The tour guide Andrew was very knowledgeable and pointed out best spots to go in Portree. Had a decent amount of time to get photos and hike to fairy pools. Bus ride was smooth. If you do book I recommend purchasing the upgrade to front row seats as it might be a few minutes getting off the bus with a full bus at stops. The cake from Skye bakery was delicious. I did make mistake of ordering sandwich with cilantro/coriander but it was the only vegan sandwich available.

5.00It covered a lot of the Isle of Sky. We stopped many places to take picture and walk around. There were several toilet brakes. We were also able to buy a lunch. Andrew was a great story teller and we learned a lot about the Isle of Sky.

5.00The WOW Ultimate Isle of Skye Tour hits the high notes of the highlands, driving through, stopping here and there, and it met expectations on that front. But a good guide can really make or break a tour. Andrew, our guide, was great. He was a one-man-show. He drove the bus while wearing a mic, recounting entertaining historical tidbits and stories all at the same time, enriching the experience with a radio-quality voice. And worth it to pay the extra money to get the reserved front seat. Better view, easier to get off the bus, and more space.
