Embark on a journey through the scenic mountains and picturesque countryside of Puerto Rico as we explore one of the most remote corners of Bayamón. Depending on the group size, we’ll travel in a passenger van or private vehicles, making our way to this secret location, just 40-50 minutes from San Juan, where we'll meet in the morning. This trail is a well-kept secret, known only to the most adventurous people who dare to venture into this far corner of Bayamón. The hike to the main waterfall takes approximately 40-60 minutes, depending on your fitness level, and promises a true adventure. You’ll climb over trees, jump across streams, and traverse fallen logs. Upon reaching the stunning waterfall, you’ll have plenty of time to explore, capture photos, and swim in the crystal-clear waters. Afterward, we’ll return to San Juan, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your Puerto Rican adventure.

Had a great time with my guide. He was well informed on hiking and had safety equipment for us. He also easily answered our questions about the land, people and their culture. Thanks for the memories Abdiel mi hermano!

The hike was super amazing!! From the beginning to the end, my friend and I had a lot of fun. We also gained a lot of knowledge on certain history of Puerto Rico and its culture. The waterfall was splendid!!10/10 would recommend and would use the services again!!

Juan and Abdiel were amazing!! They take the time to make sure everyone gets across the rocks and help you if the course is difficult. I'd say the trail is intermediate difficulty. Can be slippery and muddy in some areas. The view is beautiful!
Fantastic! This is the second excursion I’ve done with Geoadventures. I have absolutely loved both!

I loved the waterfall adventure. The hike up is filled with adventure and beautiful surroundings. The waterfall is so beautiful! Would definitely do this again

Geo took me and my girlfriend to this awesome waterfall we saw a SNAKE (so cool) and he taught us about alot of flowers and the changes of the river. He stops by a bakery before so you can grab a water or sandwhich you can even eat at the waterfall thats what we did! *just pick up after yourselves* and remember to bring clothes and a towel extra to leave in the car because you definetly wanna swim in the water fall! Going Under the waterfall was so cool! I have never seen a waterfall before and this looked like a samurai would pray under it!

Abdiel was the absolute best tour guide ever. He held my hand (physically and mentally) throughout all the challenging parts. He took amazing pictures of me and my friends. The waterfall was amazing and we got to swim in it which was so relaxing. We had so much fun, best day and tour ever!

What an absolutely AMAZING tour to the beautiful Charco Prieto Waterfall in the Bayamon Mountains! Abdiel was the best tour guide that we could have ever imagined! If you’re looking for an adventure hike to a stunning waterfall then this tour is for you! You won’t regret it! 1000% recommend!

Our excursions with Abdiel have become a family tradition. This is our second time and we look forward to next year! We can’t say enough good things about our experience from the safety precautions and gear; how to navigate the terrain; the patience service- waiting for all of us without rushing any of us; the knowledge about the environment, geology, plants; the kind, respectful demeanor; the great photos along the way. We highly recommend Abdiel and his team. Charco Prieto is a beautiful, astonishing place but it may be a little tricky to navigate without an experienced guide. Diana C

Such a fun tour!! Abdiel was a FANTASTIC guide and his pacing was perfect for our group. Actually decided to do his other tour after the waterfall tour — it was that good. He also takes great pics for the group as well. 10/10, no notes.

The views were amazing and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. The waterfall is very impressive and the hike is beautiful!
