5.00Chris personalises your day by picking you up and returning you to your accommodation in York. He takes you through tiny back lanes so you get a feel for the real Dales, and stops at beautiful locations for photos. Along the way he tells interesting anecdotes and historical information which only a life spent in Yorkshire, as Chris has done, can give. Fantastic day!

5.00Wonderful day with Chris in the Yorkshire Dales! Learned a vast amount of new information on our trip. Hit key spots from the show AND helped us witness amazing scenic beauty with our own eyes. Chris instantly felt like a lifelong friend. His passion for showcasing the Dales and educating you on facts and history make your time traveling between stops fly by. Add in his humor and timely jokes and you will have a smile glued to your face for most of your day. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and met four other interesting people for that day. Pickup and dropoff in York was convenient, stops along the way well paced, lunch was excellent and the Dales were spectacular. If you get motion sickness or small winding roads are not your thing - you might want to think twice - otherwise why have you not booked your trip yet?!?!

5.00This tour is worth your time and your money if you are an All Creatures Great & Small fan! We loved every minute of it, from learning about the real James Herriot (Alf Wight) to visiting Thirsk (where Alf practiced), from sampling cheese at the Wensleydale Creamery to eating lunch at The Devonshire (the “Drovers Arms”), from visiting “Heston Grange” and other shooting locations that fans will recognize to literally driving over the most beautiful hills and dales in the world! Chris was the best tour guide who answered all of our questions about ACG&S, the Dales, UK politics, etc . . . We highly recommend this tour!!!

5.00Wonderful tour! Guide, Chris, was perfect. The tour is a great blend of All Creatures Great and Small sites and the Dales. The pace was enjoyable. Unfortunately the day went by too quickly. Would highly recommend
