  Everything great that others have said about this trip is 100% true 💛 It was a perfect day, we saw so much but it didn’t feel rushed. Amazing mountain views, treks, waterfalls, canyons, local mountain valley church and a great lunch spot choice, this trip has it all. And a super safe driver (so important in Albania 😉) and friendly, courteous and helpful guide in Marjan, who is a genuine mountain local with tons of information to share. He’s very proud of this beautiful part of the country and with good reason. It’s stunning and he’s the perfect guide. He put so much effort in to making sure our small group had a great time - thank you for your energy Marjan! (don’t book the tours with large groups 12+, becomes a production line 😕) We had the best time. Wished we’d done a 2 day trip with Thethi Adventures. • Truely staggering mountains hiking experience

  This was one of the great experiences of our trip so far and will take a lot to beat it. Marian is a Theth National park local and it showed in his knowledge of how to drive the treacherous conditions to get there and in his way of getting us to the best view points on the hike. His care for ensuring that everyone was ok at all times was unsurpassed. His geographic knowledge of the mountains and the borders with Kosovo and Montenegro was excellent. Mountain views of snow covered peaks, rivers so stunning,hiking, waterfalls, lunch, comfort and shepherds herding in high paddocks. It had it all. I could not possibly find a fault. My wife booked it without me knowing and I cannot thank her enough. Big Day but he was relaxed and made everyone at ease at all times.   Excellent tour in the Albanian north. Beautiful scenery, the hikes were not easy for me (66-yr-old) but manageable. Marjan is very attentive, helpful and has a great personality. It is obvious he loves what he is doing. Would highly recommend.

  A fantastic day spent with Marjan hiking to both Blue Eye and Grunasi Falls. It was an easy, relaxing way to experience the drive in the alps- so much better than attempting to drive the narrow windy road ourselves! Being a local, Marjan had a lot of knowledge of the area and was able to share his stories from this part of the world. Awesome experience and great way of getting a taste of this part of Albania. Thank you!

  We were on the fence about booking an excursion when we were in Shkoder - booked very last minute and was the best decision of our Albanian experience. Marjan is a gem, he connected with great information the night before so we could be fully prepared, then met us at exactly the arranged pickup time. His minibus was ultra clean and his driving very careful - a serious rarity in Albania. We felt very safe It was a mixed group and Marjan constantly made sure everyone was happy and comfortable plus shared interesting knowledge of the mountains as we traveled. As Canadians we appreciated the magic of 'great stillness and space' found only in the moutains and everyone in the group experienced it too, plus lots of fresh clean Albanian air! When we started the Blue Eye hike Marjan gauged our abilities, cognizant of the terrain and made sure everyone felt comfortable. As active seniors (one of us over his age cut off!) we kept up with the pack but there were tougher sections and Marjan made sure we felt safe and respected. He could have quite easily left us in his dust! The Blue Eye hike is worth every bit of effort. The waterfall hike is technical and I decided to sit in the sun with a lovely shepherd who chatted non stop in mountain dialect Albanian so Google Translate was totally useless but such a wonder rich experience I will treasure. Lunch at the Gurra family's restaurant in Theth was phenomenal and in hindsight we should have booked the 2 day overnight tour with Marjan and stayed at their Guesthouse. The visit to the historic Thethi Church, meeting with a veteran local who sang andentertained us us Marjan's rich historical information was a highlight. A spotify sing-a-long ride home a coffee pit stop rounded out such a beautiful day. Thethi Adventures deserves an authentic 5 star rating, for superlative customer care and service. Marjan is personable, intuitative, and goes that bit extra. You will not regret booking with them! Highly recommended.

  Great tour with Marjan as a super friendly, informed and organized guide. We had a good ride, great walks to the Blue Hole and the Theth waterfall as well as many beautiful impressions.

  This was a great day trip from Shkoder! Our guide was Vilson and he was phenomenal! We went first to the highest point where we took a quick stop for the bathroom and some coffee/tea and photos of amazing views. We continued to the Blue Eye hike start. This hike is moderate. Vilson was very attentive to my bum knee (I brought hiking poles) and even caught me before I completely wiped out at the very end. The Blue Eye was gorgeous and well worth the hike and the lunch we had after was filling and delicious. We headed back down to hike a shorter path to a waterfall, but it was more steep/rocky. I skipped this hike since falling, but my husband said it was a beautiful waterfall. We made one last stop at a church in the center of Theth where Vilson gave us a quick history lesson. All in all, this tour was great and well worth it. If we were to come back and do it again, I would ask for Vilson!

  Wow is all I can say. The trip to Theth was great, the tour guide Marjan was so good at explaining the history and made it his priority to ensure we were looked after at an every step of the way. The scenery was amazing, with snow on the mountains and beautiful river with such clean water, and a trip to the blue eye.   What a great guide. He will work around your requests and needs. He’s always asking how we are doing and wants to make our experience the best. I loved that we took time to enjoy the moment of the different sites and not just take a quick photo. He really knows the area as he grew up there and has a love for the beauty of it which emanates.
