Glenn Ford and his team have organised guided cycling tours in Alsace since 1994. Cycling along carefully selected itineraries, through medieval wine villages and Grand Cru Vineyards, you get a true insight into Alsace along with a selection of legends, local stories and gossip. It's always wonderful to end our tour with a splendid wine tasting in our home village of Voegtlinshoffen.
Glenn was awarded a Bronze Medal for Tourism by the French Republic in 2015.
Cheers!

Voegtlinshoffen
After cycling through renowned Alsace Grand Cru Vineyards it's always nice to end our tour with a full wine tasting at a local winery in our home village of Voegtlinshoffen. I reckon it produces some of the best white wines and crémants in the world!

Glenn was very knowledgeable about the towns, wines, and history of the region. He kept the tour at our pace and schedule which was very helpful. This tour was the highlight of our trip to the Alsace. The winery vsit at the end of the tour was fantastic because of the selection and prices. When we return to this region, we will definitely find Glenn for another tour. The ebike makes the hills manageable and more enjoyable. The scenery and towns speak for themselves. When we went through tour (end of August), they were harvesting some of the grapes.

What a fun few hours! We felt like we were with a generous friend who wanted us the experience the best of his village and the surrounding area with him. Glenn was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were both comfortable the entire ride. His bikes were excellent and so were the snack bars! The atmosphere was relaxed, not rushed, and we learned a lot about the history and culture of The Alsace region, ending with a delicious wine tasting! Do not miss this experience.

We had the absolute pleasure of taking an e-bike tour along the legendary Route des Vins during our trip through Alsace, and we’re still glowing from the experience. From start to finish, it was immersive, scenic, and incredibly well-organized. If you’re looking to slow down and savor this part of France properly—this is the way to do it. The e-bikes were top quality and super comfortable, making even the uphill stretches feel like a breeze. What really made the experience stand out was how well thought out the route was. We rode through postcard-perfect villages, vineyards rolling across the hills, and breathtaking overlooks that photos simply don’t do justice. Every turn seemed to unveil a new hidden gem—whether it was a quiet chapel tucked into the hillside or a colorful row of half-timbered houses straight out of a storybook. We stopped in several charming towns, with time to explore, snack, and take in the local ambiance. The vineyards and wine tastings were also a highlight—each stop offering a glimpse into the winemaking traditions of the region, often with the winemakers themselves sharing their stories. It was personal and authentic, never rushed or overly touristy. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about Alsace, and that enthusiasm was contagious. They gave just the right amount of insight—history, culture, anecdotes—while still giving us time to soak things in quietly. Their local tips were also spot-on, from bakery recommendations to scenic rest stops we never would have found on our own. All in all, this tour was a perfect blend of activity, relaxation, culture, and indulgence. It gave us a deep appreciation not just for Alsatian wine, but for the pace of life here. We finished the day feeling satisfied, inspired, and more connected to the region than we ever expected. If you're considering exploring the Route des Vins, skip the bus tours or crowded vans. Hop on an e-bike and take the scenic route.

We had a lovely time from start to finish. Just as others have said, Glenn is an extremely knowledgeable and capable guide. He knows just where to pause and share new information. We loved that the villages were interesting but not touristy. The countryside was beautiful. The e-bikes made the experience accessible and easy. We finished with a fantastic wine tasting! We will be back!
