Our Mount Kailash tour during the Saga Dawa Festival was an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience. The journey and Kailash Kora were challenging, but the stunning scenery, spiritual atmosphere, and festival celebrations made every step worthwhile. A special thanks to our guide, Phubu Tsering, for his knowledge, patience, and excellent support throughout the trip. Our driver, Nyima, was also fantastic, keeping us safe and comfortable on the long roads across Tibet. Everything was well organized, and the memories will stay with us forever. Highly recommended for anyone seeking adventure, culture, and a truly unique pilgrimage experience.

My incredible journey to Tibet started with a simple message to Tibet Vista. I was quickly connected with Laura from the sales team, who completely simplified the booking process and took the stress out of the technicalities for our Lhasa, Everest Base Camp (EBC), and Mt. Kailash itinerary. They say honesty is the best policy, a trait sometimes hard to find in the travel industry where some guides might just make things up as they go. Not Kiki. She was always upfront and truthful. Because local site conditions and access can change rapidly (especially during this years being the Saga Dawa year), Kiki was constantly working behind the scenes. She tirelessly checked with her local sources and the back office to ensure that before we even arrived at a destination, our entry and tickets were flawlessly sorted. Kiki truly made this trip unforgettable. Here is why she deserves the highest praise: - Deep Cultural Knowledge: Kiki understood the whys, hows, and whats of every historical site we visited. She didn't just recite facts; she went in-depth to give us a profound understanding of the significance and history of these sacred places. - Behind-the-Scenes Magic: We traveled roughly 1,400km from East to West (Lhasa to Mt. Kailash and back). The route is filled with complex regional checkpoints and paperwork (like the Tibetan Travel Permit). Kiki handled every single logistical hurdle flawlessly behind the scenes. As tourists, we never experienced a single delay or had to deal with any of the exhausting paperwork—she completely shielded us from the stress so we could simply enjoy the journey. - Going Above and Beyond: At EBC and Mt. Kailash, I mentioned a personal request: I wanted to photograph the Milky Way. Kiki immediately reached out to her network to find out the best plans and updated me with all the relevant details. Thanks to her extra effort, I had the most incredible 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM photography session with my group members. - Uncompromising Safety & Crisis Management: Traveling at such high altitudes is daunting, but our bus was always fully stocked with oxygen canisters, and Kiki constantly updated us on how to manage our changing altitude. Even when local porters were scarce due to the Saga Dawa festival, she managed to organize everything we needed. When a group member suffered from altitude sickness on the second day of the Kailash trek, Kiki’s true dedication shone. She prioritized her safety, staying behind to personally escort her back to Darchen, while seamlessly handing the rest of us over to a trusted substitute guide so our trek wasn't compromised. Finally, a special mention must go to Lobsang, our driver. Though he had a limited English vocabulary, his skills spoke volumes. Navigating those vast distances, he was always fresh, highly alert, and never once compromised on our safety to get us to our destinations. I cannot recommend this team enough, and Kiki is truly a hidden gem of a guide, going above and beyond to leave her tourists only with a smile and memories to g back with!

Tibet Vista’s guided tour was very enjoyable. The tour spots selection was awesome. My family and I especially enjoyed touring Potolla palace and viewing debating monks at the Sera monestary in Lhasa. Each day gradually increases in altitude, which helped us a lot for getting aclimated with the altitude. Our tour guide, Lhakpa Tenzin, was very knowledgeable on Tibetan history and the Bhuddist faith. He often provided interesting lectures regarding the many statues, chapels, and artworks shown at the many locations we visited. In addition, when I fell ill at Mt Kailash, he was very caring and proactive to ensure my safety. Our trip was fantastic and I would reccomend it to anyone.

We had some amazing time in Tibet with Lhakpa Tenzin being our guide on the way to Mt. Kailash. Overall planning, care and attention to us exceeded any expectations. Any questions or requests you have, they all were covered and answered. This is definitely an experience you'd like to repeat later in the same setup with Lhakpa :)

What an amazing and transformative visit to Tibet, exceeded all our expectations! Felt in very safe hands with Tibet Tour- Kunchok our guide and Karma- kind and hospitable. We did the 17 day tour and highly recommend going to see Guge Kingdom well worth the extra couple of days. The people are beautiful. We had a small group on the bus tour all from around the world! We met some awesome people!! We completed the 3 day trek- without any prior training and new to altitude. I probably would get on stair master beforehand if I had to do it again it isn’t easy 😅 lucky to not get altitude sickness. But you need to be prepared!! Everest Base camp was a pure highlight and lucky to see her in her glory. It was truly an unforgettable experience! Thank you Tibet Tour!!!

A dream became true with Tibet Vista. And it was more, than I expected. But only because our perfect guide Tserina and the safe and helpful driver Kal loū, all this was possible. Tibet is mytical and amazing. We started in Lhasa for 2 days to explore the city and get the peaceful feeling og Buddhism. Our guide Tserina was so perfect in explaining all Details of it in different monasterys. The next days we went to EBC and had a phantastic view on Everest in the sun. After some days with several monasterys we reached Mt Khailash with a lot of snow. It was very cold and the condition not easy to do the Cora. A lot of decisions had to make, but nothing was difficult for our guide Tserina. She managed everything easy. Thank you so much Tserina for this unfogettable time in Tibel Nico

It is my honor to be part of 4/28 Kailash first group and have Lhakdon as my travel guide and Kaltse as my driver in this 15 days trip in Tibet. Lhakdon has profound knowledge of Tibet history and provided us great explanations for many questions. During the trip, she paid attentions to every details of our need and co-ordinate the complicated situations well. Her detailed oriented style really helped our group to achieve every goal in this trip. I really appreciated her great work. Kaltse is a perfect driver. He kept the safety of passengers as top priority and drives professionally. He takes care all our needs and stop as requested. He makes our trip so smoothly. Happy to have you as our trip safe guard.
