I had the most amazing experience ever. Tibet is a really special place. Very spiritual and with stunning landscapes. We were lucky enough to have Sonam Tenphel as our tour guide. He is extremely kind, generous and very knowledgeable. Always very concerned with our wellbeing and comfort . He explained Tibet to us with such love and respect that was mesmerising. Five stars are not enough to score him. The tour was absolutely perfect. Thanks again for making this experience so beautiful!

This 7-day journey through Tibet was a powerful blend of cultural richness, spiritual depth, and breathtaking landscapes. From the shimmering Yamdrok Lake to the towering Karola Glacier, each day revealed a new facet of the region’s natural beauty. Reaching the Mount Everest elevation survey monument and witnessing the sun set behind the world’s highest peak was a moment of quiet awe and unforgettable scale. The journey concluded in Lhasa with visits to the sacred Jokhang Temple and the majestic Potala Palace, timeless symbols of Tibetan Buddhism that left a lasting impression with their profound serenity, intricate artistry, and enduring spiritual presence.

We took the 8 days Lhasa - Everest Base Camp - Lhasa trip. We missed the plane and had to make alternative arrangements, and informed the tour agency accordingly and they were very accommodating. We had our driver waiting for us when we arrived and we were sent to the hotel. The driver was very kind and gave us tips on high altitude. Our guide for the trip, Tseyang was very informative, kind and always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. I was sick and had to miss the Day 2 of the itinerary and she provided information on how to get to the pharmacy and kept checking on how am I doing. It was a wonderful trip and I will definitely recommend our guide and also Tibet Vista for a very well and meticulously planned travel, definitely the best there is. Thank you Tibet Vista and thank you Ms Tseyang!.

The experience was amazing! It's a good combination of everything: monasteries (you get to see the monks serving tea or praying thanks to the guide's good timing), nature and workshops / activities (we got to make incense, praying flags, and took pictures in Tibetan clothing). The choice of hotels is exceptional, and food was also generally good. Our guide Tseyang was hands-on, attentive, very organised and funny 🙃 Absolutely recommended!

This tour was great and combined two things I'd always wanted to see - Everest base camp and Tibetan monasteries! Well structured to give you the best opportunity to acclimatise to the altitude but be warned it is a lot and you should do some research into what helps with altitude sickness! Tour was great - Everest is magic and the monasteries and tibet were fascinating. Tseyang, our tour guide, was great! Friendly, vibrant, energetic and knowledgeable. Genuinely helpful and attentive and flexible with itinerary to suit conditions, time and preferences. Absolutely worth it but prepare for the altitude!!

From the initial tour consultation to receiving the permit, arriving at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, and the tour itself, I was thoroughly satisfied. Special thanks to my tour consultant, Amy, for her patience and support since I first enquired earlier in the year and paid the deposit on 1 June 2025. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m so glad I made it to Everest Base Camp. Our tour guide, Tseyang, was highly experienced, knowledgeable, caring, and patient, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The accommodation and meals were all of good standards. I also appreciated that there were no additional expenses, as bottled water and oxygen were generously provided throughout the trip. Snacks and hot tea were provided along the way. Our dutiful driver ensured that the bus was cleaned everyday. Thank you to our tour guide (Tseyang) and driver for making this trip a safe and pleasant one. I highly recommend Tibet Vista to anyone planning a trip to Tibet. Seeing the 日照金山 is said to bring blessings for the whole year—not to mention seeing 日照 at 珠峰 was unforgettable. What an amazing way to start 2026. Happy New Year!

This 8-day Everest Base Camp tour was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our wonderful guide Lhakdon and driver Panba. What made this trip especially meaningful is that this was actually the second time we travelled with Lhakdon. She was our guide for a Tibet city tour 11 years ago, and by sheer luck, out of more than 5,000 licensed guides in Tibet, we were reunited with her again on this Everest Base Camp journey. It felt like fate. Lhakdon is knowledgeable, calm, and genuinely caring. She explains Tibetan culture, history, and Buddhism in a clear and engaging way, and her passion really shows. More importantly, she was extremely attentive to everyone’s health and well-being, especially at high altitude. She checked on us regularly, gave clear and reassuring advice, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey to Everest Base Camp. Our driver Panba was equally outstanding. He is an excellent and highly experienced driver who handled long drives, high mountain passes, and rough roads near EBC smoothly and safely. His calm driving gave us great confidence, and he was always patient, helpful, and friendly. Together, Lhakdon and Panba made a challenging high-altitude journey feel safe, well-organized, and enjoyable. Seeing Everest from the Tibetan side was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and being guided again by someone we met 11 years ago made it even more special. Highly recommended to anyone planning a Tibet or Everest Base Camp trip.

I’ve been to over 70 countries with numerous guides, but Lhakdon and our driver, Penpa, are truly the best. Lhakdon was always ready and knowledgeable about what we were seeing, and had a positive attitude considering there were alot of people with different priorities she had to balance. Penpa always was cool about getting us to our destination and always had a smile on. He was always available when we forgot something or were lost. This trip is the perfect amount of time to get a cohesive sense of Tibet. The best thing was that Lhakdon and Penpa, even though we were there to se Everest, made each location feel engaging and unique, so it felt like on a great tour vs we were working our way up to something. The additional experiences were also pretty fun and compact, oxygen was always on hand (and definitely was needed by some of us) and the hotel stays were very nice to 3 stars. The only negative was that sometimes, particularly if you’re a foreigner, is that WeChat pay won’t work and Alipay, although easier, isn’t accepted everywhere.

I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to visit Tibet. It checks all the main spots plus the trip to Everest base camp. Doing this trip is impossible without a tour agency. There are many permits and bookings that need to be done beforehand. This trip by Tibet Vista took care of all of them, so I could just focus on having fun. The hotels booked by them were immaculate. Special thanks to the sweetest guide ever Ms. Lhakdon who took care of us like a family. She painstakingly took care of every little detail so that we could have a smooth trip. Also thanks to our driver Mr. Penpa, who made sure we were comfortable and entertained in the bus.

I just spent beautiful days in Tibet thanks to Tibet Vista! This trip has been on my bucket list for ages, and I’m so glad I chose this company—they helped make my dream come true in a way that totally exceeded my wildest expectations. The organization was spot-on from start to finish. They handled all the formalities and logistics (permits, hotels, transportation and meals) perfectly. A huge shout-out to our driver, Penpa, for getting us around safely and smoothly! The itinerary was great, but our guide, Lhakdon, was the real star of the show! 🌟She made the whole experience so special. Her passion, knowledge, and the way she looked after every little detail (and all of us!) was just incredible. Plus, the group of people I traveled with was amazing—we honestly felt like a little family by the end. Huge thanks to the team! I highly recommend Tibet Vista to anyone dreaming of visiting Tibet. You won't regret it!
