This is a classic multi-day tour that provides the opportunity to visit from Lhasa to Everest Base camp. The tour will get you acquainted by covering all main tourist sites like Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkor street, Drepung and Sera monastery with Gyantse Kumbum and Tashi Lhunpho monastery. Tourists can also see natural scenery like the beautiful, sacred lake of Yamdrok Tso, and Karo glacier, and beautiful views of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world, from Everest Base Camp.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Book at least 10 working days in advance so tour operator may attain your Tibet Permit. Tibet Permit will be delivered to customers' delivery address / hotel address in one city of China. Please note your tour operator will contact you after the booking is confirmed.
Travelers are required to provide photocopy of passports and China L visas at least 20 days prior to travel date.
Please Note: Customers' airport pick-up and drop-off in Lhasa needs to be arranged by the tour supplier. If customers fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu, please do not apply for China L Visa in advance. Customers need to apply for their Tibet Group Visa from China Embassy in Kathmandu via travel agency. Before that, they need to ask for an invitation letter from the tour supplier. If customers fly or take a train to Lhasa from one city of China, they need to apply for their China L Visa from the China Embassy in their country.

Lhasa
Upon arrival, our Tibetan guide will greet you at the airport or train station. You'll then be transferred to your hotel in downtown Lhasa. Along the way, you can enjoy the spectacular scenery of Yarlung Tsangpo River, Lhasa River, and the typical Tibetan villages. After arriving at the hotel, take some time to rest and acclimate to the high altitude. It's helpful to take it easy for the first few days and remember to stay hydrated by drinking water. Please note that there will be no sightseeing scheduled for today.

Potala Palace
Today's tour will first bring you to the Potala Palace which is the winter palace of the Dalai lama. It was put to use since the 7th Century by the 33rd great king of Tibet. The most valuable collections of Potala Palace are the gilded burial stupas of former Dalai Lamas and meditation Cave of the 33rd great king of Tibet.
Jokhang Temple
Then after lunch, tourists head to Jokhang temple which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century. Inside you can see the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of twelve. Outside, you can see pilgrims making prostrating in front of Jokhang Temple.
Barkhor Street
Around the temple is Barkhor street, where you can do kora (a religious circle of a building or mountain) with pilgrims and locals, and explore the old market. Besides, We can taste Tibetan tea with locals in tea house; The welcome dinner will also be arranged accordingly.
Lhasa Day Tour: Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery

Drepung Monastery (Zhebang Si)
In the morning, you are going to visit Dadong Village, the most beautiful village in Lhasa. Located 25 kilometers southwest of Lhasa downtown, Dadong Village is a well-protected ancient Tibetan village that surrounded by valleys. After arriving, you will visit the Nyimatang Monastery (built in the 11th century), take a light walk in the village, and see what rural life in Lhasa is like. You will also visit a local Tibetan family and enjoy the lunch offered by the family. Notice: we will go to Dadong village instead of Drepung Monastery.
Sera Monastery
In the Afternoon, Tourists will visit Sera Monastery which is another one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. The hot attraction is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the afternoon. In addition, you can tour the Tibetan religious scripture printing house; inside the monastery, you can see three sand Mandalas and colorful Rock Painting of Buddha.
Lhasa (3650m) to Shigatse(3900m) via Gyantse

Yamdrok Yumtso Lake
In the morning, drive from Lhasa to Shigatse .On the way, drive over the Gampala pass (4790 m), and you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso (4400m) .The Lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountains and in the distance you can have spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar, (7191m) the highest mountain near Lhasa .
Karo La Glacier
Later, we will pass and enjoy the Karola Glacier on the roadside; At Manak Dam Lake, you can hang pray flag at Simila Mountain Pass; Then, we will arrive in Gyantse, historically Tibet's third largest city (after Lhasa and Shigatse).
In Gyantse, we will visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum and enjoy the Far view of Gyangtse Fortress. After one and a half driving, we arrive in Shigatse, which is the second largest city in Tibet. In Shigatse, we may visit traditional Barley Mill and view the landscape of Barley Field (in summer).

Mount Everest Base Camp
After getting your Alien’s travel permit, and then drive to Lhatse, it is a small town where you can have lunch. After that, we will pass Tsola Pass(4600M), and Gyatsola Pass(5248M). Shortly after we enter Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve, tourists can enjoy the panorama of Himalaya at Gawula Pass(5198m).Then we drive along the New zigzag road to Everest Base Camp(5200m). You can get closer to gazt at the Mt. Everest peak. The sunset of golden Everest peak if time and weather permits at the lodging area.
EBC return to Shigatse

Rongbuk Monastery
In the morning, you can see the sunrise appear on the top of Mt Everest, and have a full view of the magnificent Mount which stands like a snow-capped pyramid in front of you at Rongpuk, the vantage point for watching Mt. Everest. Then drive back to Shigatse.

Tashilunpo Monastery
You will start your day by heading to the Tashilunpo Monastery, which is the seat of Tibet's second highest incarnation, the Panchen Lama. Afterwards, you will be driven 175 miles (280km) back to Lhasa by following Yalong Valley through Friendship Highway. It takes about 6 hours.

5.00This 8 days long tibet journey was really breathtaking. The pacefull tibetian monasteries and the endless hilli landview given for the journey a real sacred experience! The sight of mount everest was lifelong experience. Our tour guide Tseyang was a really prepared tour guide and took us to the best places!

5.00We had a great time on this tour! The communication before the tour was great in helping us pick which tour was right for us and the Tibet permit was an easy process and it was waiting for us at our hotel before we arrived. The tour itself was great we were able to visit lots of temples, monasteries and viewpoints. Our guide Tseyang was brilliant and was able to tell us so much about what we were seeing. She was also able to change the itinerary when necessary to make sure we didn't miss out on anything. The tour bus was comfy and kept clean throughout the journey and it was great getting lemon tea from Tseyang at some of the colder stops. The hotels in Lhasa and Shigatse were brilliant and the tent guesthouse at Everest Base Camp was comfortable and surprisingly warm. We enjoyed all of the meals included on the tour especially the welcome and leaving dinners. Overall, we would recommend this company if you are considering a trip to Tibet!

5.00Our trip from tibet was absolutely unforgettable!we traveled from lhasa to tsedang,gyantse,shigatse,everest base camp,and finaly to nyalam.every stop offered something specail from ancient breathtaking views of the himalayas. Our guide james was truly exceptional.he explained everything perfectly,shared deep insights about tibetan culture and relegion,and took great care for four of us,he always made sure that we were comfortable and happy,and he never left until he was sure all of us were fine,his proffessionalism,kindness and knowledge made this journey extra special. Our driver was also wonderful skilled,patient,and always smiling,we felt very safe and well taken care of throughtout the trip. The atmosphere of the whole journey was perfect, a combination of beautiful landscapes,rech culture,and great companioship.i highly recommend this tour ans especially james as a guide ,he is simply the best!

Jigme is very responsible and knowledgeable, always taking great care of the group and sharing interesting insights about Tibetan culture, history, and local life. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and cared for, no matter the situation. 5.00We had an unforgettable journey through Tibet – from Lhasa to Shigatse, the Everest Base Camp and back to Lhasa. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The schedule was well planned, the hotels and transportation were great, and we always felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. A very special thanks goes to our tour guide Chonzom. She was absolutely wonderful! Her English is excellent, and she explained everything with so much knowledge, passion, and patience. 5.00Our guide was Lobsang. Lobsang is a really experienced local guide and he made the tour really something special. The overall pacing and structure of the tour was really good and we got plenty of interesting facts about Tibetan history and culture. The scenery was breathtaking and the cultural sights are really one of a kind. Accomodation and transport also were really comfortable. Lobsang really cared for everyone in the group and made everybody feel included. He was the best guide we could hope for, very passionate, competent and just a great guy to be around. Thank you!
