You will explore traditional housing and farm facilities from the late 19th century in the biggest open-space ethnographic museum in Croatia. Finally you will get a glance into history of Yugoslavia in the birth house of Josip Broz Tito.

After around one hour drive we will reach Krapina Neanderthal museum - one of the most modern Croatian museums located on the largest site of Neanderthal fossils in the world. Visit to Krapina Neanderthal museum will take you on a journey through evolution based on latest scientific findings – from cosmic and chemical evolution, evolution of live to realistic representation of our ancestors. Fantastic museum built with empathy and you could really feel what life must have been like then. The path up the mountain made everything so realistic. Highly recommended. A real experience!!

Our guide is amazing. We loved the Neanderthal sites. It was so unique. The castle was beautiful was several hundred years of history. Tito’s birth village was so peaceful. We also tried local drinks and food. Wonderful trip.
