Having just finished a day visiting SchunBrunn palace in Vienna. I can safely say that if you intend to travel anywhere in Vienna by train or underground, you should be made aware of these facts first. 1. There are NO staff on the platforms anywhere. 2. When you buy a ticket for travel on the underground/railways in Vienna core the ticket is only valid for a total of 90 minutes. DO NOT validate a ticket in advance as you might as well throw it straight in the trash. 3. "Barrier Free" as Vienne Lien calls it means "We are trying to get there but have no idea what Barrier free actually means and do not care about disabled passengers at all, as we have not got a passenger assistance service of any kind". 4. Most trains have "Barrier free" access, which should be read as "If you are lucky a train with a wheelchair ramp will be along eventually". 5. Most (meaning the vast majority) of trains do not even have a guard/conductor on them. In one trains case, the driver had to out of the cab to come down to the rear of the train, to unlock the ramp for me to get onto and off the train. Me and my carer had to watch 5 trains pill out of "Vienne Mitt" (which by the way is their central hub in Vienna) which took over half an hour, before a train came along with the ability for me to get a mobility scooter on board. The lifts on to and from the platforms can support and fit most mobility chairs/scooters (excluding what UK calls class 3, or road legal). If there is a fault with a lift, then you had better hope that a. there is staff on duty at the ticket offices or b. that you can find someone who speaks your language and knows alternative routes. If you cannot find either of these, then good luck getting to where you need to go as SOS phones on the trains don't work and the SOS phones on the platforms are manned by German speaking people.

Unfortunately, school groups take part in the normal guided tours. Due to the lack of interest of the students, it quickly becomes loud and it is difficult to understand the explanations.

The experience itself is not bad but not worth the cost of the ticket. The virtual part is short and the rest is very basic with animated mannequins that tell various parts of the story. Cuter for children definitely the Sissi tour in the final part.

We had booked the combined ticket. I am a spectacle wearer, it is advisable to use contact lenses for these two events. You get 5D glasses on the history tour and once also virtual glasses. I was lucky that a friend of mine has already done the tour and made me aware of it. The journey through time - Magical history tour we personally enjoyed very much. The story of Vienna was told with much heart and shame. Virtually just great. The Sisi boat tour, yes is also quite nice, but for us now not the highlight of the tour.

Great and entertaining offer to spend an hour in the center of Vienna. You always keep moving, up stairs, down stairs (suitability for people with physical limitations only given to a limited extent) but that doesn't bother. on the contrary, it makes the whole thing even more interesting. The presentation and use of modern visual media has succeeded and makes the tour entertaining. The young staff is exceptionally courteous and professional. Value for money is good. Personally, I have only two criticisms: please revise the translations into English on the posters in the waiting area. Some of them are so grotesquely bad that they're almost funny. And in no opinion should perhaps children under the age of 12 go along with this tour. Some topics can only be handled by adults, such as the Plague Pit and the Bunker. We saw it in isolated reactions from children in the group that this was frightening and not perceived as entertaining. But this is not due to the attraction itself, but the mental maturity of the children and the lack of preparation by the parents.
