5.00The tour was very interesting, we not only tasted the food we also got an insight into the history of Leon. The food we were allowed to taste was excellent. Everything from sweet to salty is included.

5.00Our tour guide Oscar was awesome. We highly recommend. Do the tour at the beginning of your stay in Leon because Oscar gives great information about the history and culture of the area too.

5.00I usually don't bother to write reviews (I know I should lol) but the local food tour in Leon was phenomenal! Oscar made the tour exceptional! His knowledge of Leon and all of Nicaragua looked at through the lens of food was wonderful. It was focused on traditional food from not only the current population but also expanded to the indigenous cuisine. Wonderful! Thank you Oscar for a great tour. If you are thinking of taking this tour I would recommend asking for Oscar.

5.00Great tour with Oscar who shared lots of information about Leon and Nicaragua whilst on the tour. I learnt a lot about food in Nicargua and enjoyed all the food I tried. Lovely, engaging host and very good communication to organise the tour, Highly recommend

5.00We had a wonderful time with Oscar. He shared so many informations with us and it’s been the perfect start to get introduced to the food in Nicaragua. He choose great samples and we had a wonderful time with him. It was more hanging out with a friend than being on a tour. Everything he showed us was very delicious.

5.00Oscar was great!!! He was on time and available by WhatsApp. Then he gave us a great tour that included some history and the chance to try many local foods in the market nearby. He was very informative, spoke great English, and was always checking in to see if we had any questions or needed anything.
The food tour is worth a 10/10!

5.00We booked the food tour online with Oscar. We immediately received a super clear explanation of the tour's content. Fantastic! On the day itself, we enjoyed all the information Oscar shared about the city of León and the food. Incredibly interesting and educational! He let us try all sorts of things. A real added value to our trip through Nicaragua!

4.00This was a great tour that show cased local foods that we had never heard of or tried. So many interesting flavours. Even our children experimented. Vladimir was a friendly guide who also shared insights into the history and culture of Leon as well.
