Step into a warm, home-style kitchen located about 15 minutes from Shinagawa and enjoy an authentic Japanese cooking experience. In this cozy private studio, you will not only learn how to cook, but also experience the spirit of Japanese “omotenashi” (hospitality). During this hands-on class, you will prepare 5–9 traditional Japanese dishes using simple techniques and seasonal ingredients. The menu may include ramen, gyoza, wappa bento, and other popular home-style dishes. This experience is beginner-friendly and perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, and small groups. No prior cooking experience is needed, and everyone can enjoy the process at their own pace. After cooking, you will sit down together and enjoy the dishes you made in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Drinks such as sake, beer, or non-alcoholic options are available. At the end of the class, you will receive easy-to-follow recipes and small Japanese souvenirs, so you can recreate the experience at home and take a piece of Japan with you.

5.00Thank you so much. I joined the class with my kids during my short trip back to Japan, and it was a really special time for us to experience Japanese food culture together. The private setting was wonderful — it felt just like being at home. The staff were incredibly kind, and we’re already looking forward to joining again next time!

5.00I had a great cooking class with Machiko and Nao. I got to make udon broth from scratch and made gluten free udon noodles! It was great to see how things were made and the steps were easy to follow. Highly recommend this class if you want to learn how homestyle Japanese food is made!

5.00This is one of my best experience as a residence in Japan! I love to cook and I got new recipe from this cooking class experience. Machiko-san and Nao-san is very kind and patient. They also gave me a cute Japanese lunch box. When I going home I immediately recooking the recipe for my lunch

5.00I really enjoyed this experience! Cooking Japanese food - ramen, gyoza and mochi was surprisingly easy with Machiko and Yoko, who kindly guided each movement. Not only we learnt about Japanese cuisine, but also tried to cook ourselves and then ate delicious food we prepared ourselves! Cute presents were given to us in the end. The place has really nice atmosphere and staff are really friendly people!
